Jailbreaking Iphone 3g
Hi, my Iphone 3g is jailbroken but I want to reset it then jailbreak it as I bought it from a friend and want to clear their apps and start afresh any guides etc ie once wiped can I update the firmware before jailbreaking and if so can it be to the lastest update etc

As long as the firmware is below 5.0.1 you should be able to jailbreak it0

what is the latest up date from itunes for the 3g? i dont want to update it then not be able to jailbreak it0
