    Morning all,

Its a bright beautiful day here again :j we have been so lucky with the weather, meant to be turning next week though.

I have the throws and cushion covers from the sofa in the wm, I will do the dogs bedding next, am running out of things to wash :o, I like to make the most of the good weather.

Yesterday I had a good day in the garden, got all the weeding done and had a general tidy up, potted on the cucumber plants etc.

I also make two sponge cakes, one I decorated yesterday with fresh cream and strawberries, (photo on FB) and one which I will do today for my dads visit home.

Dinner tonight will be hotdogs and wedges with sweetcorn. Might nip up and see my sister later on.

    Have good days all xx

    morning all!

dull and overcast here but dry.

Had to fix the washing machine last night at 10.30 when I got in from work(DH was poorly) as it wasn't draining - managed to unblock the pipe and so far so good it seems ok.

Plans for today are to catch up on jobs this morning lots of housework and laundry. This afternoon its either gardening or reading or painting.

what's the best way to wash dogs bedding? i always shake the fleece blankets and towels but still the washing machine ends up coveed in dog hair and I'm sure thats what clogged the pipes up. I dont want to have to keep buying new stuff but dont want to wreck my machine either - any suggestions?

DH is at work but he's got a stinking cold so I'll be keeping away from him as I dont want more bugs thankyou very much!;)

JackieO - hope you have a good time in London x

(((hugs))) to all the poorly people

have a good day all x

    Morning,
the sun has just come out,a bit watery as its been raining though.Off to the match this afternoon, just me and DH today,ex Sis iL still not quite right after her op ,not up to walking from the bus anyway.

DH is going to take me to Abakha n shortly so I can get a bit of fabric for a baby boy quilt, not got much blue stuff in and DNiece really wants to make one( ie I make it ,she'll tell me what to do.I might let her sew some patches together on the machine as I can set it to slow speed and she is sensible)

Not thought about tea really, might splash out on a takeaway as we'll be home later. Our local Indian is excellent,we usually get one between us as you get quite a lot,and they deliver free.Must get the 1/2 price lamb out of the freezer for tomorrow-it will make a real change,we usually have turkey

Well thats all that springs to mind at the mo so better get a move on.Hope you allhave a great day xx

I just wash it as normal, and then run the machine on empty afterwards on a really hot wash, seems to work xx

    Afternoon All

Up early here and back from shopping by 10am. House cleaned and tidied, dinner prepared for us and friends tonight. The weather has cheered up a bit but I don't have enough of anything to make a load so will leave it till tomorrow.

Going to have a chilled afternoon and read a book I think. Take care. XX

D/Doll seems to be a chocolate theme running thorough your shopping list :):)
Well chums I'm back from the 'smoke' after my history trip and we all enjoyed it immensley.Great place and spectacular staircase.Lots of movies shot there, including some Batman movies,Operation Crossbow back in the 1960s and believe it or not one of the Spice girls video's was shot on the staircase as well.

Sis-in-law bought lunch for us both (we take it in turns and it was her turn) and apart from the fare I didn't spend anything else. so a good day cashwise.NSD tomorrow as all the shops are shut so I won't go food shopping until at least Monday or even Tuesday if I can help it. I'm just going to do a bit of ironing as I watch t.v. tonight, then feet will be firmly up on my recliner as I've done a lot of walking today.
I hope you all have a good Easter Sunday tomorrow but the weather forecast isn't up to much.
<<hugs>> to those who are feeling a bit down and poorly.Wheres all the lovely sunshine got to,definitely not in the south thats for sure
    cheers chums

busy day cleaning , shopping, SIL came with easter eggs for the girls , im fed up of the house looking a tip when people come . I clean and tidy relentlessly it seems but the minute someone comes, someone else has tipped the entire contents of every cupbard out all over the floors  I keep asking them to try and tidy up after themselves but its not working. My DB came the other day and the place was a tip , but bless him he didnt notice lol

made a lasagne for tea , it was yummy and there is some left for another day :j
the girls have decided they are having chocolate for every meal tomorrow  hoping the weathers good enough to do an easter egg hunt outside
