Parking fines don't get recorded on your credit file??

I had come to a payment arrangement with the council, but I think there was a day where i was late in sending off payment and I was told that if this happened they would send it all to bailiffs....they did. It was unintentional on my part, just overloaded at the moment and we cannot carry phones on us at work or use the work phone. All down to one day...0

So the original tickets were from a council?0 -
If the tickets DID come from a council, then it does NOT count as a CCJ and does NOT go on your credit record.0

Yep - sorry for being vague earlier - just so much I had to do I was losing it, lol!
Yes original tickets from the council for definite, but they said they would pass onto a bailiff - that is the Marston Group.....
They had agreed a payment arrangement but I was a day late and then I was told it had been passed to bailiffs, told by letter the next day...i thought they might have been flexible by a day or so....
If i'm not at risk of getting a CCJ then I would just tell them i'm continuing with a payment plan as i cannot afford the lump sum....otherwise i've got to borrow it, hence i was wondering whether I would get a CCJ. For obvious reasons I wish to avoid that.0 -

even if passed onto bailiffs?

Absolutely. The standard collection method is to pass it to bailiffs. But it isn't a CCJ because it doesn't go through a County Court, and it isn't a judgment, but adopts a different procedure.0

I know it's the Marston Group....that's who I paid and I paid over the phone - I'm pretty certain I had letters from them first....if i find it all amidst everything else i'm doing i will post back
bailiff = CCJ :-(

You have 8,001. Sign up for a priority management course.
PS. I'll always remember my priority management trainer saying, "There is no such thing as time management. You cannot manage time. Make the next minute only last 59 seconds. I'm not asking you to create an extra second out of thin air, just lose one."
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

LOL! Actually the non-priority tasks have been dropped....the 8000 are those that are left and which I consider do-able in a day :-P
I should have spent less time in courses throughout my 20's and 30's.....learning far more in the university of life!
