Mine took several months - this was pre DLA, they had to wait for my GP to reply to their letter. However, they said that most of the wait was simply down to them having more work than man-hours.0

Mine took several months - this was pre DLA, they had to wait for my GP to reply to their letter. However, they said that most of the wait was simply down to them having more work than man-hours.
Same with my mother's. Although the GP did put a slight delay on the paperwork for which they apologised profusely (about 2 weeks, very unlike them - Mum has a good surgery). We doubt it would have come when it did if she hadn't of chased either.Data protection is there for you, not for companies to hide behind0
