It doesn't look right, but there's comments saying the rear wheels turn and are meant to do this? I wouldn't want a car that does that.

    It's nothing new, rear wheel movement/steering, the old Peugeot 306 used to do this to an extent (passive rear wheel steering), but IMO that BMW is a cut'n'shut.... It shouldn't be THAT noticeable.

    Its Active rear steering therefore you will notice it.

    If the suspension was that loose that the wheels were doing that of their own accord the driver would definitely know about it....

    that's crabbing, 0.30 secs the cars turning left and the back end is also going left it should be going subtly right

    I don't think BMW have ever used active / passive rear steering for their cars...?

    BMW Integral Active Steering - at speeds of up to 60 km/h (37 mph), the rear wheels are turned in the opposite direction to the front wheels. At higher speeds the rear wheels follow the same steering movements as the front wheels.

    any rear end were the trailing arms are at an angle to the wheel will have some steering effect as the suspension goes though its travel
