    Then maybe I should have lied and said my car temporarily broke down, then I may have had a case. I suppose I'm too honest for that. I may think about doing that if I ever get a fine mistakenly again as I've had enough of this stupid enforcement's. It's all a money making scheme and it's just not fair for tax paying people who already pay a price for road tax, which again is a stupid old law they need to stop as we pay council tax now which should deal with road issues anyway.

    Dare I say it- but every scammer's favourite target is the honest person. Does that extend to councils who have jumped on the bandwagon of fleecing the motorist under any pretext?
