    Me either.

    The advice given in the above quote is wrong as you have rightly noticed... any reduction in a weekly rest must be paid back in full in one block (chunk :) ) It can't be done with an hour here then another couple somewhere else.

    It can be added to any rest period of a minimum 9 hours, so that could be a daily or weekly rest.

    Having re-read his post again he's supposing the minimum weekly rest of 24hrs which when subtracted from the regular period of 45hrs does indeed leave 21...
    Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!
