My mum bought my youngest a trunki for his holiday. It was awful for travel. We use it now to keep his superhero costumes in and when he goes to stay with granny (a mile away).Don't look at me, I'm irrelevant.0

Just thought I would let u know!
We used trunkis and they were just awful!!
The worst part was the steps from the Tarmac up to the plane, carrying 3 bags and trying to help the two kids up the stairs.
And also getting the stuff out of them in mid flight, u don't know which side has the netting to keep it all in and as u can imagine I always opened up on the wrong side and everything just fell out!
I could have fit way more in a rectangular kiddies pull along bag then the trunki.
I'm glad I only borrowed from a friend and hasn't forked out for our own!ADVISE-"I advise you get help"

My 4 (10, 8, 2 and 1) love theirs but they are used for weekends at grannies, sleepovers at friends etc.
A friends daughter (3) uses one for visiting family overseas but there were 2 adults and 1 child so easy enough to sort.
I;d not think they were suitable for a flight at those ags tbh.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Hi
I often travel on my own with my 4 year old and nearly two year old.
My only advice would be to take as little hand luggage as possible because if your like me things get left behind when your dealing two tiny terrors.
I just take a small carry on suitcase that ds1 loves to pull about, small backpack with reins for ds2 and a changing bag. Usually I try and take the buggy to the gate but it they dont let me then at least the amount of luggage is minimal.0
