ppi failure

hi,i was wondering if i could still claim against 2 companies who i had taken out ppi against.black horse wrote a letter saying that everything was ok about me gettn ppi back in 2004,ge money who i used a broker to gett ppi has ceased trading but also ge money says the ppi was ok,is there anything i can do to it take it further.help would be appreciated

Did you pay this PPI as a payment towards the loans that included the loan payment too, or did you pay this PPI as a separate payment on it's own?.

Who was the broker with GE money?.

I assumed GE was being dealt with now by Santander.

When my son complained of a store card that was sold to him with insurance when he was a full time uni student, he did mail it to the GE address, and the letters he received back from them was Santander.

Ge money was the main loan but the ppi was a broker cant remember the name of company, first......? The ppi was included in monthly payments.i couldnt get loan unless I took ppi an also I was working full time back then an would of gotten sick pay threw work if off,both companies have said that the ppi was sold fair.is there anything I can do now

Ring GE and ask who the broker was, when you know this then ring FSCS and ask if they can help you with the claim.

Put mis sells into FSCS and Black Horse.
The main reason for mis sell on both of these loans are that this PPI was front loaded, in effect a loan on the loan that was paid to term end with interest, had you known the full cost of this PPI you would not have taken it.
Put that you had sick pay from your employer that covered you for 12 months so why would you pay for an Insurance that covered you for the same period when you had this cover in place for free.

after looking threw old paperwork.i have found that ge moneyloan had ppi with the funding network not first something,sorry,the date i had taken loan out was 20/11/2004.black horse loan was before that.

Do the claims as i said, Black Horse and Funding network.
Use the front loaded reason, when you get a response then let us know.

contacted fcsc about funding network only to be told that i cant go further due to the fact they have ceased trading and my ppi was before jan 05,phoned black horse regarding matter and was told to phone ombudsman then to be told same since pii was took out before 05 also ,grrrrrrrrrr

Did the FOS say you could maybe go for the Insurer?, give them a ring and ask.

I do not understand this at all!1 people on this site have won mis sell with loans from the 90s, me included.
Did the FOS say you could maybe go for the Insurer?, give them a ring and ask.

all i got was that my ppi was before 05 and that i cant take matter further,my black horse ppi had life cover on it an was told by them that i cant take it further also,
