So far I have ignored 2 of their 'bog paper' supplies.:T

Scamming Parasites is too kind a phrase to describe PPCs. If I typed what I actually thought about them I assume it would be deleted as obscene, so Scamming Parasites will have to do.

If you feel you cant ignore them then you could always send them an envelope containing a couple of blank sheets of paper - just remember to forget to put a stamp on it so they have to pay over £1 to get it. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

On the subject of sending stuff back, i used to get junk mail for credit cards and such like, if there was a pre paid envelope all the junk mail went in that envelope and it all went back to them.
If a PPC sent out such junk mail, coudnt it just be sent back, with something extra ( ie taped to an empty oversized box ) to increase the postage charge?

PPCs don't send you junk mail. Their letters are, potentially, quite valuable. No, not to them- to you.

    1) Does the camera they use, likely to have better resolution and could therefore ID the driver?

It doesn't matter if they have the latest, sharpest, most sensitive and highest resolution cameras on the market.

Photos have absolutely no value whatsoever as evidence in the context of private parking!

Even in legal/legit parking enforcement, photos at the absolute bottom of the evidential food chain and would only be specially admitted as evidence after all other forms had been considered and passed - Mostly, photos are only ever used to clarify minor technical issues.

As regard parking spy I have had 1 ticket for a car and around 10 for lorries none as the driver. (I have never had a ticket:A) always the keeper. Used to engage with them tell them to go forth and multiply, asked them to take me to court if they wished. Never did, after it stopped being fun I just ignored them. Never heard a sausage.

I don't think they would try enforcing a penalty arising from an overstay again, it has cost them dearly to be told that they are entitled to their due fee and no more, as in Parking eye V Smith!
