Purchase Refused When Buying Mobile Via Quidco
Options
Tried to buy new mobile from the Phone Spot (which I understand is a trading name of the Carphone Warehouse Group) via Quidco (Quidco offers £50 back on Phone Spot purchases).
First email from Phone Spot said "We have processed your application with your chosen network. Your application has been referred which means that the network needs to carry out further checks before we are authorised to go ahead and process your connection".
Second email barely two hours later said "We are unable to despatch a phone on the network you requested. However as we deal with all of the major networks we have similar fantastic offers we would like to discuss with you. Please contact us regarding your requirements on 0845 688 0559".
Is it reasonable to assume that by asking me to phone them they are trying to get out of having to pay £50 via Quidco? Anyone else experienced same?

Well, I don't know if they are trying to get out of the £50, but I do know if you complete over the phone you will lose it.
Just cancel the deal and go for something different via Quidco.0
