Not using a flight - do I have to tell airline

Long story but basically not using a flight booked for tomorrow morning. Can imagine the cost of calling the airline to cancel and we won't get any money back anyway so is it alright if we just don't turn up?

You do not say which airline !!! or what the flight is, and single or return, so does not give us much to go on.
Theoretically if you are using a non budget airline, and have used the outbound flight, then they might charge you for the extra cost a single to that destination.
If budget airline, then there is no problem in not turning up for a flight, as even if you booked a return, you have bought 2 singles.
You might get airline tax back, depending on who the airline is.0 -

I think that as youve paid,you can just not turn up and lose the money.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

You can claim the APD back as airlines only pay it to the government when the passenger actually flies.
Whether you'll get much back after "admin fees" is another question0 -
Yeah you should recieve the Government taxes back from the airline.
Aer Lingus 'Admin Fees' are 20 Euros or £13.50. These are per each way AND per person. So even considering UK tax levels you'll get pennies back.
