download mp3 ro motorola v525 with data cable

right, I am a novice so be kind. I have recently purchased a Moto v525 and I want to download some ringtones/mp3 ringtones via a data cable. BUT HOW?

I have already got a download via Kazza of ringtones etc, but How do I actually transfer them to my phone. When I plug in the phone to the computer, it makes a sound to say it has found a device but nothing is showing (ie removable memory)

help a little old clueless person.

from memory with a data cable you will need motorola phone tools for ringtones and picture transfer and midway for transfering java games, i used the bluetooth on the v525 which i found easier to transfer stuff as once installed everything got transfered via bluetooth and saved mucking about with many other programes, if you do a search in google you might find a trial download of MPT.
