quick 3 question

i have a k608i on three contract that i am just ending. i know these are expensive to unlock but would a three pay as u go simcard work in it? ie if my mate buys one off ebay will the phone work then for them?

    these are not like the k800i, w850i, k610i etc which are db2020 phones. the k608i is a db2010 phone which can be unlocked for around £10 in a local shop, or on a market stall.

    anyway, a 3 payg sim will work in it as the phone is locked to 3 so it will accept any 3 sim card
