Static electricity in cuddly toys please help - urgent

Hi.

I had to wash my dd bun bun, he had to be tumbled to dry him, and now I have her in tears because he's lighting up and crackling - static electricity.

Please please can anyone suggest a way to stop this - she can't sleep without him.

Cool...it'll stop soon or just lightly spray it with water. You just dried it out too much.

I've tried to make a fun thing out of it but she's having none of it, she has a cold so is also feeling a bit down.

So if I give it a light misting of water will that cure it.

I put it in the dryer for about an hour as its a big bunny about 2ft tall and just as wide and I wanted to make sure it was dry and didnt go mouldy (sp?)?

Put a tiny drop of fabric conditioner or talc on you hands and rub over Bun Bun.
    I'm not that way reclined

Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!

Thank you all so much. I have given bun bun a dusting of talc and it has calmed down quite a lot, I now have one happy little dd.

It was amazing to watch I even got my ds out of bed to see it!!

You guys are amazing thank you once again.

Talc is not a good idea, tiny particles get breathed in.

    Fabric softener every time.

Unfortunatly the talc thing was short lived, it's flashing again!!! Will give him a good shake tomorrow and try some fabric softener. I was concerned about the talc with dd having a cold so was a bit sparing with it.

If you have tumble dryer sheets, try rubbing it over with one of those.

It worked on my hair although I couldn't stand the smell.
