HP frequently have offers on ink cartridges with the 301 combo pack being as low as £9.50. I've paid £10 on a couple of occasions.

I usually find the promotions posted on the Hot UK deals site

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/

The links provided take you to the HP Sure Supply website but this is also reached using the link via Windows going into All Programs to HP and clicking on Shop For Supplies. This HP site not only displays their prices but also those of other authorised dealers including DABs and EBuyer.

At the moment HP are out of stock!

    Hope this helps.
thanks neil, I visited that site yesterday, and out of stock as you say. there are numerous 310,s, so that,s why I went via that route, it has my printer details. much appreciated.

If one is going to advertise, please go to Gumtree....

I'm not the owner, i was quoting THEIR site, the link takes you to the HP cartridges but they also do a refill your old cartridge aswell, I just remember someone else posting the link on another Hp 301 request
doesnt matter whether the original cartridge is a standard or a XL as it costs the same to fill, I forgot to put that line in QUOTES.

note: you have to send your cartridge to the which they will then clean and refill and send back. unless you buy the remanufactured ones.

Personally I would throw the printer out and buy and epson, compatibles for epson are only 50p per cartridge.
When buying a printer always look at the cost of the cartridges before buying the printer. I learned my lesson after i bought an Lexmark for £80 and then found out it was going to cost £30 for each cartridge, and it use 2, 1black and 1tricolor. so i bought an epson after ebaying compatible cartridges

The TEsco equivalent is good and you can get 100 clubcard points if you recycle it back to them - making it a pound cheaper.
  • If you are in UK you can go here ,the one I always go,and if not I suggest amazon
