hi, I have a hp all in one printer that uses 301 cartridges.
callistra gave me a link for genuine inks, but alas, have lost it, I think it was Amazon. If you are reading callistra, would appreciate it again please, or does anyone know the cheapest place to buy them from?

can your printer also use the 301XL cartridges? if so here a company that can refill your cartridges for a reasonable price.

type in 301 or 301xl if its compatible, xl is a same size cartridge but holds more ink.We operate a very simple pricing structure of £6.99 black and £8.99 colour across the entire range.
to save on ink I would get a program called INK-SAVER it basically tells the printer to use less ink on printing. when you click on print, ink-saver takes over, looks at the data you want to print, optimises the colours, send data to printer and then the printer prints it, anything from 25-75% saving. personally use it at 33%. cant tell the difference 0% = no saving. 75% looks like draft. all printers use more ink than is actually required to print. example would be all printer use the 3colors red/blue and yellow to make the blacks more black.
personally would get rid of the printer, and buy an epson. and use compatible ink carts at 40-50p per cart, oh wait i already have a epson sx200.0 -

I presume it takes xl, as the cartridge it came with, was standard. but had xl alongside of it;0 -

HP frequently have offers on ink cartridges with the 301 combo pack being as low as £9.50. I've paid £10 on a couple of occasions.
I usually find the promotions posted on the Hot UK deals site

The links provided take you to the HP Sure Supply website but this is also reached using the link via Windows going into All Programs to HP and clicking on Shop For Supplies. This HP site not only displays their prices but also those of other authorised dealers including DABs and EBuyer.

At the moment HP are out of stock!
Hope this helps.0
