Santander ISA transfer help

I am on day 22 of my ISA transfer from Nationwide to Santander.
Nationwide comfirmed on Friday that my transfer was never requested from Santander and Santander couldn't find paperwork to show they had asked for the transfer from Nationwide. Santander did date stamp my transfer request on 15th March.
Santander have said they will honor the transfer (I should think so!!!) and reinstate any interest.
But the FSA say is should take a maximum of 15 days. So does it matter that they have exceeded the 15 days or is it enough for them to say they will honor the transfer and make sure any interest is added?
Thanks
Sarah

You should be fine. Santander will backdate the interest anyway, so given they are almost admitting they may have dropped a clanger but they will make it right means you will have no worries. The 15 day period will be breached but given you will not be out of pocket it is irrelevant and won't make any difference to you.0

Agree largely with CitySlicker - - though it should not be down to the applicant to ensure Santander do the job they should have done in the first instance! Causes quite unneccessary work & anxiety to the applicant.
choccy, I'd raise a formal complaint with them now - that way you have it documented that you are unhappy. And perhaps it helps Santander to speed things up a bit, and to ensure they won't make more errors.0 -

I have done this now, thank you both for your advice.
