You don't consider neutral feedback to "bad"? As an ebay seller yourself, would you be content to receive a neutral because of your buyers remorse/misunderstanding?
Maybe they have chosen not to engage in conversation for a reason? Out of interest, how much did you purchase the bike/basket for?<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

The OP did contact the seller who said that the pictures he had posted were of the bike she collected.
Sometimes it's only when you have the item in front of you with the photos that you can see some differences.
The OP has said she's happy with the bike overall but wondered why the seller had used photos of a different bike.
That doesn't sound like buyer remorse or misunderstanding.
I would def low star on description.0 -
I paid £100, the bike was about £225 new I think.
And yes, if I sold an item which is so obviously different to the one on the picture, and refuse to give any explanation about it, I would accept neutral feedback.0 -
So you are happy with the bike overall, happy with the price, so what do you want to actually achieve? Have you asked for a refund, partial refund, or asked to return the bike?
And is the bike itself obviously different, or is it just the basket and lock that is obviously different? And if it is so obvious, why was it not spotted when it was collected?<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
I don't think anyone would like to receive a neutral due to buyers remorse or misunderstanding. The problem here isn't that the buyer's feeling remorse or has misunderstood - the picture is different to what they received. That's the seller's fault, and combined with poor communication from the seller, worthy of a neutral.stevew8975 wrote: »As an ebay seller yourself, would you be content to receive a neutral because of your buyers remorse/misunderstanding?0 -
Thanks pendulum, that's how I feel.
stevew8795, the fact that it was a different bike (or it has been damaged/altered AFTER taking the pictures) wasn't obvious when I collected it, I only realised when I got home and check the pictures.
There's no misunderstanding here at all... and I've offered the seller to give me an explanation, and they refuse...0 -

But, the buyer didn't RECEIVE, she COLLECTED. So, the BUYER'S fault, not the sellers.0 -
So it is my fault that the seller published false pictures and lied to me ??0

So, had you arrived and found the 'item' to be a tv. Would you have taken it home and then studied the photo?0 -
OP, I think you need to decide what kind of resoloution you want.
It doesn't really sound like you want a partial refund or to return the item.
If you're happy enough with the item, it just an appology / admission from the seller that the item isn't quite what was in the picture than you might just have to suck it up. A neg / neutral seems unfair if you were happy enough to take the item for the price you paid.0
