    Hi all

Sorry. I've not posted for a couple of days - been busy with Derek & Clive, plus trying to get ahead with the housework in preparation for having Mr LW underfoot for 4 days this weekend.:D

Nmlc I hope your DS is OK - what a scare!

Tru (((HUGS))) and lots of justice vibes for your DS. Don't even get me started about domestic violence. Little madam needs putting in her place, and I hope the court does just that.
Is your Molly a piggie? Give her a cuddle from me.:o

    Uolypool Hoppy Birdday, mate.

Hester well done you on making the angel pockets; I'm sure they'll be embued with your own special magic.:o

When D & C were picked up yesterday, the area agent said she'd been let down by another host this weekend, and if it wasn't too short notice, would I like a spaniel from tomorrow til next Tuesday. Um.... do bears krap in the woods??:rotfl: So Jasper will be arriving tomorrow morning. I've no idea what type of spaniel, I forgot to ask! :D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Why don't you get a spayed female guinea pig as a companion for Molly ? The spayed female could then be put in with the boys when the time comes.

    Good morning

Snowing here in the Peak District. It's quite heavy but wet so the grass is covered but the roads are slush.

We had a power cut for about an hour this morning. DH has phoned to say that friends who live a bit further out have had no power since early this morning.I put the local radio on and most of the main roads in the Peak District seem to be blocked.

    Stay warm everyone

Good morning everyone  Thought I would join in for the first time :-)

nmlc, Hope your poor son feels better soon, that must have been so scary :(
    uolypool, have a great birthday!!

Well, yesterday instead of flaffing about on tinternet while at work, I read through loads of the recipes on the GC board. Printed off a lot of baking ones, lots of slow cooker ones, and soup ones.

Home last night after work and DH had roasted the chicken we bought. Had dinner, then used the carcass for stock. Made carrot, parsnip and lentil soup for tonights dinner, and made pasta/mayo/salad for lunch at work today :T Didn't sit down til about half 9 last night, but it was worth it.

So, instead of flaffing about chatting on here, I'm going to get back to my recipe search and print off more :j
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

    Morning all!
WM has finished churning away, big pot of tattie soup simmering on hob, will get round to the ironing later. Think dinner will be soup, and sausage sarnies, so need a loaf and that will be the extent of the shopping. Have run round with the hoover and duster and tidied the kitchen, will do the bathroom now once Ive had a shower, then see if mum needs shopping.
Hugs where needed, oh nearly forgot......
    :bdaycake:Happy birthday Uolypool!

    Hi everyone

    Happy birthday Uolypool

Been snowing here in North Staffs, but doesnt look as if it will settle much thank goodness, where has the lovely weather gone, my poor plants outside will wonder whats happening:(

Been catching up on unfinished projects the last few days, and have now finished my new chair covers for the dining room and some crocheting that has been hanging around for ages, so feel quite positive about it all at the moment, and ready to start something new:)

Just been in the garden to fill up the bird feeders and they were all in the hedge waiting for me ... ah bless

Dinner last night was fish, pots and veg not very exciting but very nice all the same

    Afternoon all

Uolypool - happy birthday, have a fab day!
nlmc - poor DS, hope he feels better
    bramble - enjoy day out
Tappers - hope you feel better soon

Good mornng in work with my work kids doing CV's and finishing off their files. I'm now off work til Tuesday :j yay! I was meant to be working but turned out only one of my work kids will be in (2 are going away, one has job interview and one has job trial!) so I told him to have day off. I get to meet the girls for our traditional Maunday Thursday lunch now :D.

It's my study leave afternoon, no uni cos it's holidays but I'm meeting the girls to work on our group project...in the pub ;)! But we are actually going to do work not drink, but we are having lunch first. Pub has free wifi so it makes sense! I'm off out for food again tonight with a friend, so lots of eating out this week!

OS wise - just had quick tidy round and put dishes away, will need to hoover later.

    Have a great day all
