broadband cost checking

right, currently we are on the tiscali surftime package, for which we pay both tiscali, and BT. we are looking to update to broadband. one clicher is that as we currently pay bt as well, my mum doesn't understand how you can just pay the service provider for the broadband package . firstly, is it just the monthly fee we will pay? and secondly, does anyone know if the £1.50 per Gb over the cap on tiscali's 1mb package just continues to roll, or does it get more expensive the more you go over the limit?

First. DO NOT go with Tiscali Broadband. They are terrible and it will take months to leave them If you dont like it. They have poor customer service, unreliable speeds and lie constantly.

Second. All you pay is the monthly bill to your ISP, and any charges for going over any set caps

Third. go with a provider that has no cap and you wont have to worry about going over.
