Missing fonts

When I reply to a post, Verdana is always the default font.
I noticed today that if am pasting or quoting some text that is in a different font, and I want to change the whole post to Verdana, I am unable to.
The 'Fonts' dropdown only shows from Arial down to Impact, and it is no longer possible to scroll down past that point.

I've been experiencing that issue in IE9/Avant Browser since the forum was "updated" in January. I did report it but who knows whether anything is being done to fix it;

There's an issue in firefox which lets you select veranda but won't always apply it so I've ended up having to use Opera when posting on this site (which is a pain beacause it displays all the html code that you use).0 -
So: only two of us are finding this problem? I doubt it.
I notice nobody is posting to say 'I can see the whole dropdown list of fonts'.
It's changed fairly recently, though it's hard to say exactly when. That's in IE9, and it's the same in IE8 on my WinXP laptop.0 -

I can see the whole dropdown list of fonts in Firefox.

You have a lot more fonts than I do, fermi; is it because you have any other microsoft word like clever software in your system?0

Not MS Office, although I do have the fonts that would have come with it if I did + some others.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

So is it that the problem is just with IE?0

These ^ are the ones, that I can see; however this is my ancient laptop that has just the basics and no microsoft word. However I have a fab pdf file viewer, called Foxit reader, presumably that has something built in, to let me see and use other fonts on wesbites.
I'm not keen with fonts though, specially because many fonts are actually not kind to the eyes, specially for dyslexics. I prefer the default. But what I'd like is an option to set colors for text.0 -
That's exactly what I see too. Either on a Win7 desktop or a WinXP laptop, both with Word (I think the mention of Word in an earlier post was a red herring, TBH).These ^ are the ones, that I can see; however this is my ancient laptop that has just the basics and no microsoft word.
So do I. In fact, this is really my beef - the site at present prevents you changing any imported or quoted text to the default, mainly due to the fact that Verdana comes lower in alphabetic order than 'I'.I prefer the default.0 -
Just to post my experience :
Using Firefox 10 on W7 (64bit Enterprise) I can see the entire list of fonts.
Using IE8 on the same OS I have the same problem as you.0
