Nationwide Flexclusive ISA - 4.25%, instant access

I definitely would assume that the T&Cs are correct.
In one of the ISA confirmation letters they sent to me, they specifically mentioned that £750 need to be paid into the Flexaccount each month in order to keep Flexclusive ISA, and it said they would check eligibility "regularly".0 -
I was specifically told that I MUST keep paying £750 per month into the account to continue to benefit from the 4.25%. Apparently failure to do this will result initially in a letter from them, then if I still fail to pay the £750 in, a transfer to one of their other ISA products.0

Same here. I also got another letter from them the day after, saying "Congratulations, you now qualify for our european travel cover! Just credit your account with £750/month to stay eligible".0 -
Now I didn't meet the eligibility criteria for the new flexclusive ISA. So I followed some of the tips on this forum and made a few calls [differing information from NW advisers] and I found and filled in the online application form from Natiowide as detailed in my previous post #223 page 12, to select Plan B and choose which DD's I wanted to transfer [to keep my other current account open] On Saturday I went into branch with my form and they said 'no you can't open the account that way you have to transfer all DD's' [not what the advisor told me]. Anyway she made a phone to someone else who said 'yes I could', she still thought I couldn't but said she would post my form off and told me it would take 3-4 weeks to transfer. I received a letter of instruction on Tuesday to call the Account Transfer Team to make my DD selection, I duly did this [tho this adviser didn't fill with confidence another story!] I transferred 2 of my DD's over the phone yesterday.
Today [Wednesday] I rang the 0800 111 4420 and asked to open the account the first adviser, told me I couldn't do it on the phone and had to go into branch, now knowing how 'helpful' and 'knowledgeable' the NW advisers are I rang again and lo and behold I have now opened a flexclusive ISA!
Thanks to persiverance and MSE forums!0 -
Strange that one as my gf went in & asked as she'd transferred her direct debits, could she apply now or did she have to wait for the direct debits to show in her Nationwide account before she could apply.
She was told she'd have to wait until they'd come over from Santander.0 -

Not what they told me. They said that if I requested a transfer over the phone or online banking, it could take 3 - 4 weeks to appear on the system that the transfer is complete. But, if you do it in branch, you could open the ISA account the same day (or Monday if done on a Saturday, etc).0 -
Did you do the switching in branch then? My gf did it online.
Looking at the criteria, it says "complete" a transfer. I guess it depends on their definition of "complete".
Until it's showing in your account would be one way of viewing it.
Completing the form being you completing your end would be another way.0 -

I went into the branch today to open a Flexclusive ISA.
After I had opened it I was told that the rate for new accounts is dropping to 3.25% next week.
I am not sure how reliable that is, but the salesperson had nothing to gain by telling me after I had opened the account.0 -

It wouldn't surprise me. I was told on 16th April (post 406 above) that this account would be withdrawn on 6th May0
