Hi all don't come on and post very often but i have just been to Boots as i saw someone on the boots thread mentioning they only ever get coupons for toothpaste from the advantage points machine. I use corsodyl toothpaste (because of having problems with my gums) which is really expensive! so I thought oh i only ever get those sort of coupons i will go take a look. When i got there i noticed all the toothpastes were buy 2 get 1 free and i had a 200 extra point coupon from machine so i bought 3. I also bought 2 l'oreal foundations which were buy 2 for £14 great i thought i have 2 x £2.00 off vouchers £5 a foundation good buy I thought. When i got to the till the lady rang up my transactions put my 200 point voucher through then my 2 x £2.00 l'oreal voucher and the total was £14.95 instead of £18.95 which i was expecting.. When i looked at my receipt it had took 2 lots of toothpaste off !! so i paid £4.95 for 3 corsodyl toothpastes. Not sure if it would work with all toothpastes. I will be going back tomorrow to get some more as it is a great saving.

Sorry if this is off topic, but I know a couple of you here are 'crafty' and might be able to help! (Someone did a tutorial on how to make little boxes out of christmas cards, Im sure it was on here!)
Anyway, someone has just given me a huge amount of Mosaic stickers for the schoolo PTA, all different designs like this..
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Impex-Plastic-Mosaic-Stickers-Jazzy/dp/B002ED40KM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1335195320&sr=8-1
But the packs do not tell me how to use them!
They say they are plastic, but i have tried to see if they have a backing on, and it looks like cardboard, surely you wouldnt have to cut them out and just stick them on?
The pic on the back shows them on glass bottles, vases, lamps, tea light holders and picture frames.
Anyone ever come across them? (again sorry its off topic, and I'll shuffle over to a crafty thread if you think thats best:o)
if they are the same as the ones on the link youve given it says they are self adhesive just peel and stick so it sounds like they do have some kind of peelable backing on. sometimes you have to be careful that you dont peel the sticky bit off with the backing paper so just tease your nail under one edge and try to loosen it a little first to see if they do have a sticky surface under the paper backing.
hope you amnage to create something nice with them.SPC~12 ot 124

I was in tesco yesterday, but was in a major rush, i had a feeling that there must have been something going on with the baby stuff as there was a couple wandering around with two trollies overfilled with baby stuff, which you could tell wasn't gifts as there was about 6 of each thing plus a random pineapple on top????
Not worried who it was.......
But I wanna know what they were buying?!0
