She called me straight away all excited :rotfl::rotfl:
she bought the John West tuna chunks in sunflower oil 4 pack which are on offer half price at the moment but on her receipt they show as going through at 39p instead of £3.49. I advised her to go back in and get some more but to scan them first at the self scanner just to make sure they were the same ones. Mum calls me back and said she bought some more but paid £3.49 for them :eek::eek:
Thinking she had picked up the wrong ones second time around I obviously had to investigate more.....and this is the strange bit, both packs are identical, barcodes are the same (sorry did not note the barcode). Have seen both receipts and on one it states tuna chunks and on the other it states John west tuna also the tills were different, first time she went through till 14 and the second time 12. NB* it was the old style packaging like this http://www.hotukdeals.com/tag/john-west-tuna and not the new packaging they have recently brought out.
Very bizarre. If the barcodes are the same then I cant understand that happening.
Could the scanner have somehow picked up a barcode on a single tin the first time around, rather than the pack? Or was it wrapped up tightly with just the outer barcode visible?Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Hi everyone
Quick question about different members of the household registering for websites to print coupons like SSM and BIS.
I printed my Loreal coupons of Friday and realised yesterday my 'hubby' could probably register too. So I used a different email address but when I log in it says that the coupon I want to print has already been printed. Is it always this way? Or is there a way around it? I don't mean in a sneaky way, I thought different members of the household printing coupons individually was acceptable.
could you not try the different email on a different browser?
also have you got a roaming IP address (ie Plusnet), if you have and use a different browser it should work. HTHIt only seems to be per computer, its nothing to do with the ip address. It is more likely the mac address of you computer that it uses.
I changed the source code and could change the blanked out button to allow it to print again but it does not give you a new unique code so thus pointless.
Thank you all. Will dig out his rickety old netbook and give it a try!
Did anyone else do an order with Milk & More with the £10 code? I remember someone posting it on this thread and was asked to remove it as we shouldn't post codes and never saw it mentioned again. My order is coming in the morning (I hope!)0 -

Sorry if this is off topic, but I know a couple of you here are 'crafty' and might be able to help! (Someone did a tutorial on how to make little boxes out of christmas cards, Im sure it was on here!)
Anyway, someone has just given me a huge amount of Mosaic stickers for the schoolo PTA, all different designs like this..
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Impex-Plastic-Mosaic-Stickers-Jazzy/dp/B002ED40KM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1335195320&sr=8-1
But the packs do not tell me how to use them!
They say they are plastic, but i have tried to see if they have a backing on, and it looks like cardboard, surely you wouldnt have to cut them out and just stick them on?
The pic on the back shows them on glass bottles, vases, lamps, tea light holders and picture frames.
Anyone ever come across them? (again sorry its off topic, and I'll shuffle over to a crafty thread if you think thats best:o)0 -

There was a glitch on these tuna tins 6 months ago maybe your mum has been lucky enough to catch an old stray tuna0 -
Just don't pick up several copies of the Price Flop magazine and try to use several frozen/cheese coupons in one go as they state "one per transaction".
I checked in store about this and was told that as long as you meet the criteria for each coupon, you could use as many as you like. I bought over £30 of frozen food and the three frozen foods coupons scanned through fine. Have used more than one yoghurt one and cheese one in the same transaction before too. You are right though - the coupons do state one per transaction so maybe this is one of those things where it varies from store to store as to what they will or won't accept.0 -
can you please tell me which purple bars those are ???
