I used to save my hollowed out pineapple shells and freeze them, then when we had a BBQ I use them as fun cocktail glasses or use them on the table filled with fruit salad :)

I could have done with one at christmas when i was making the spicy pickled pineapple (which is absolutely divine :D)

I could quite happily live off fresh pineapple

the spicy pickled PA sounds very interesting .

it'll be a heck of a lot easier if you do them next Christmas .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

    Good evening Elite

(( Hugs )) to those that are in need, or just ifyou want one and a warm welcome to any newbies.

I've had a hectic couple of days and now have pages and pages to read to catch up :eek::eek:
Not been to Ts today but got my list ready for tomorrow. DS4 had mates around   and I need to re-stock on some items.

Also just noticed in Morries latest leaflet they are selling 4 Fat rolls of Plenty for £2.9* as from tomorrow. With a 50p off coupon I'm happy with that :j :j

Also notice I've still got 20 + of the coupons from Ts, you know the knife ones. My friend has all she needs and I'm still trying to rehome what I've got ;) Seems a waste to bin them really ;)

Just been reading about the incident on Ts page, what low down behaviour indeed. Shows that none of us are safe then. In all my years of being a member of mse, I think this is the first time I've seen anything that low

Pouring with rain now and I need to go out and feed the 'hogs' (hedgehogs that is and not my DS4 and mates
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh well, onward me thinks. I've babbled on too much
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

    Miss Laid,
I hope, that this situation will be sorted soon and in the best possible way for you&your mum ( she looks so good, by the way!).

Small find today at Mr.T's -Christmas napkins
(should I say serviettes:D) Father Christmas on them BC:7544 RTC £1, scanned 37p.

I scanned every xmas type napkin the other day waiting for them to be 1p or is 4p the new 1p ?

When I have had something not compare that I thought should, I have always emailed CS and got either the money or clubcard points.

Thanks Enterprise, I'll risk a call with the excuse i epsecially wanted this cheese as on WW and bought in T as my local A was OOS ...or something along those lines.

I'm exactly the same....in fact we have had some 6p donuts today. I love the cheap croissants as they are my favourite, never thought to freeze the cookies though, I'll have to try that one. What I do with them if they are getting a bit soft, is whack 'em in the oven for a couple of minutes and they crisp up again.
I freeze stuff that says keep refrigerated too. As long as it doesn't actually say "Not suitable for freezing" in it goes!

Wow! you freeze even more than me - never thought about freezing so many bakery things, think i'll need another freezer at this rate :D I have taken to doing my own roast med veg when there's cheap bowls of peppers at the like at our local market. Much better value than the ones in the foil trays that shrink to nothing. Then I freeze and mix in with pasta etc (well except for the last batch I did...that got made into a veggie lasagne before seeing the inside of the freezer :rotfl:)

I'm very taken with the pineapple corer too...every kitchen should have one I think (and a boat butter dish - even if you put flora in it :))
