Evening all.. I've been cooking up a storm. Lasagne for dinner, then a batch of healthy muffins (carrot, raisin and pineapple, they're delicious) and finally some very unhealthy chocolate tiffins - using my 1p galaxy promises :D
Hope this post of the lasagne works...

I also found these, didnt buy any as very small - probably creme egg size, easter gift bags very cute animal pics though.

Sorry for the rubbish pic, the kids were getting fed up with me as had dragged them round the clothes section looking for the 4p hats (no luck though).

I'm getting nostalgic here with everyone talking about eating fresh pineapple. I used to eat it here until I had REALLY fresh pineapple. I was laying back on a 'deserted' island in Thailand, and they provided loads of fresh fruit including pineapple, mango and lychees. The pineapples there were so different to the ones we get here I have not touched one in this country since! As for the lychees, the tinned ones, and even the 'fresh' ones, you get over here are not a shadow of a shadow of the them when they are really fresh.

I eat apples, oranges and bananas here, everything else has been really spoilt for me by a holiday in the sun!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Thanks Enterprise, I'll risk a call with the excuse i epsecially wanted this cheese as on WW and bought in T as my local A was OOS ...or something along those lines.

Wow! you freeze even more than me - never thought about freezing so many bakery things, think i'll need another freezer at this rate :D I have taken to doing my own roast med veg when there's cheap bowls of peppers at the like at our local market. Much better value than the ones in the foil trays that shrink to nothing. Then I freeze and mix in with pasta etc (well except for the last batch I did...that got made into a veggie lasagne before seeing the inside of the freezer :rotfl:)

I'm very taken with the pineapple corer too...every kitchen should have one I think (and a boat butter dish - even if you put flora in it :))

I always buy as many of the bags of peppers I can when they are whoopsied. I then core and slice them and put them in the plastic veg bags (thanks Mr T) and freeze. Fab for bolognese, fajita's etc.

I've got the good quality wall and floor tiles picked out at £30 - £35/m2 (or one third of that with Tesco reward vouchers;))

It's the cost for labour only that I'm looking for on the floor tiles. I'll do the wall tiles myself as my slow DIY pace won't hold up the progress like the floor tiles will.

    Thanks for the info:)
my sister is 63 and she asked me to lay her floor tiles. i just did not have the time for at least 6 weeks. so she got a quote. it was huge compaired to the cost of the tiles. so she had a go herself, having never done any diy before she done a good job. what i am trying to say give it a go with quick setting adhesive and you can walk on it the next day. you only have to do a bit at a time.
go on artha give it a go you'll be proud of it.:)
i've now read further into thread and see why you cant do it yourself
