    Part of the Furniture
Dropped some friends at the airport earlier so on the way back went to a different Extra. Had all the simply add meals, got 8 of the chicken tikka and was gutted to see offer had been fixed. These are the meals I really wanted, not the 20+ of the others I already have. Must admit we are a bit sick of eating them now.

Went through SS till and of course I hadn't got my switch card on me.

Still, we had a good run and I am sure something else will pop along soon ... and thanks to this lovely thread everyone will share.

I quit as the resident pub quizzer ages ago, 3Dogs.

Somebody in the bar was cheating ; playing the pub quiz machine using fake £1 coins. Not just once a night either. To avoid drawing attention to themselves, they would play for a bit, empty the machine, then leave. After waiting a while for the regulars to fill it up, the crook would come back, disguised as someone else and empty the machine again using more fake £1 coins.

    :p

    ps. Love Alan's hat. :D

    Morning All ,
Wet windy and Wild Wales today by the sounds of it .

Old Bear , the machine has been changed and is accepting £5 notes only , I'll lend you a tenner (with compounding interest) - so you can see if your as smart as you think you are - sounds like a song comin' on .
C'mon in and taste the sweet waters .:)

Can't believe it is Friday already and we are leaving the caravan and heading home. It was our first holiday with a pet and although she was very good it really does restrict what you can do, especially on the bad weather.
Haven at rockley park was very nice, England had already gone back to school so it was pretty quiet with most folks from Wales, lol.

I have talked hubby into taking me to clarks village on the way hom, so am looking forward to some bargain hunting in a couple of hours.

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
Good morning all from a lovely sunny Belfast :)
Mini rant about newspapers and their freebies, DS and his class are learning all about the Titanic and were all told about our local paper (Belfast Telegraph) doing a special today and giving out a free medal
    http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/editorial/p1Images/today_big.jpg
Well just been to 3 newsagents and only 1 had enough medals to cover the papers they had :( I'm just glad I got enough for DS and 5 of his friends, couldn't even get one for myself. I know from experience that they never expect such a huge demand but they could at least supply enough for the papers delivered.
I know the problem in one of the ones I went to is the owner takes quite a few for himself if he thinks he can make more selling them on ebay, he also regularly used to woopsie shop on Saturdays in a Ts that didn't open early on a Sunday for breakfast items, buying them for 10p and selling for £1. The manager found out and had to put a limit on the number of each item he could buy so everyone got a fair share.

sorry longer rant than I thought it would be.
FYI it's the Daily Star with the £5 off £30 spend at Lidl but excludes Northern Ireland  bought the paper only to spot that now  Although mine does say on page 42 that there's one in tomorrows, I'll be sure to check before buying this time
