Good morning all just quickly caught up and it is now time to make sure DD is ready and we are off to school - I am off to the dentists later then onto T's got a conditional spend and jtd to use also got my coupons from Unilver vip as it is closing soon if you still have coupons you need to print them soon - and if you haven't ever used it you can still join and get a £1 coupon and a £0.50 coupon

I believe it was based on distance. I'm only about ten mins drive away but I'm assuming that perhaps some of the second choice parents had nowhere else to go so were given the school I had chosen as they were closer than me, even though I had put it as first choice if that makes sense? I can't see why else they would give second choice over first choice.

I'm going to look into appeals as it is defo worth a shot and will obviously go on the waiting list as well. Didn't try calling them yesterday as only have a mobile and would have been sat on hold forever as it was the first day after results in. Will try today instead.

Re car sharing. I seem to remember seeing on the superscrimpers program that if you are only accepting money to cover fuel costs, and no more, then you are NOT running a business. I am on my phone and can't manage links but the channel 4 superscrimpers page had info on car sharing.

Had a fruitful battery filled day yesterday so I think I'm going to avoid ts today!!!
instead I'll spend my morning counting my schools vouchers and splitting them between preschool and primary then I'll rearrange my cupboards, only have 2 months left to eat the oep tortillas. Can't believe I've only got 8 left! Thought they would never go!
