Didn't feel able to get another dog for a long time but a picture was put in the local newspaper 2 weeks before Christmas 2008 and I couldn't bear the thought that someone might just get a puppy for Christmas so this is Belle
I have loved seeing your gorgeous purry and furry babes - thank you all for sharing
I LOVE these pics! Awesome! I could've quoted other people's pictures all day, because they've all been fantastic, but Belle blew me away. Gorgeous. And (I'm not a cat fan, the neighbours' cats keep killing the birds that we feed and leaving them in the garden) I have to say, your cat pics are awesome too. Westie's (I think? - black and white one?) Really took my eye too. Reminded me of all the pictures I used to have of my dog. I had one very similar in b+w. Lost everything on my hard drive. The pic I posted earlier is the only one I have of my pooch, Jeff, at the moment (Taken by my brother). That means I will never see him with all 4 legs again!
It always pays to keep ones inbox tidy!

No OldBear, it wouldn't be the same without our quizzer playing
Somebody in the bar was cheating ; playing the pub quiz machine using fake £1 coins. Not just once a night either. To avoid drawing attention to themselves, they would play for a bit, empty the machine, then leave. After waiting a while for the regulars to fill it up, the crook would come back, disguised as someone else and empty the machine again using more fake £1 coins.

Good Evening Elite :A
Well I've been pretty busy today, cleaning and tidying the house, then my Aunty visited this afternoon, did a quick teeny tiny shop for milk and throat sweets (2nd 4 pints of full price milk I've bought for a few months!) There were huge thunder and hail storms this afternoon and evening but it made for some glorious skies and I wish I'd taken my camera when I went for a walk round the seafront with friends. We all cleared the air between us and it was lovely to finally get it all out in the open :jJogged home after, first time I've been jogging since before Pneumonia struck in December, bloomin heck I'm unfit!
:o:rotfl:

Saversavvy123 - Aww you're too kind, thanks
bensonsmum - Please don't feel guilty or think it's odd for you to feel relief. Your poor FIL was at times in immense pain and now he's completely at peace. There's nothing odd about taking comfort from that. I wish you continued strength over the coming days and weeks, especially with writing and delivering a speech at Michael's funeral. But also I wanted to say that sometimes having a good cry is exactly what we need and given time, I hope that your OH is able to express himself and you're able to talk without holding anything back. Sharing the grief and supporting eachother will be comforting to you both :A Thinking of you xxxxx

Busy day for me.
Finally got out to do some retail therapy at 11am because my brother phoned to say that he'd to go sign for his new house today instead of tomorrow and could we sort his stuff out from behind the tv so he could take it with him. Mum ended up washing everything!!!
Anyway ordered my fridge freezer, washing machine and cooker for the princely sum of £618, managed to get free delivery and everything was reduced especially the fridge freezer (had been £499, then £329 and finally £249) massive fridge and suitable freezer. Being delivered on Thursday
Quite pleased with myself as I had a budget of £650 because that was what was left in bank account last night after paying my car insurance last week. Thankfully tax credits were paid today.
Got the little suttons plants (135 petunias, red, white and blue), very small box so was surprised they were all there.
Well got to go, up early for school run
nite nite allSPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D
