I was very disappointed that the Magnum Infinities came back as N/A. They show on Mr A's website as 2 for £3 but there's no offer showing for them on My Supermarket, so I don't think I'll get anywhere if I query it. I've just eaten one of my expensive ice creams at £1 each - they are OK if you like rich chocolate but I'd have never paid Mr T's price had I known they wouldn't compare.
nooooooooooooooo i'm gutted, bought them today for a hopeful JTD:(

I was tempted to give this a go last week but chickened out.
They have two different shapes of 600g containers which have different barcodes on them. On the £4 one the tub is spherical and the opening to the tub is at a 45 degree angle. The £10 one is the new batch and the opening is flat at the top and the front/back sides are smooth.
I decided against it as I thought they would argue that the cardboard display does not picture the £10 container. Or I can see them saying "you were not overcharged for this product, it is £10. If we had sold you the other one at £10 then you would have been overcharged and entitled to refund. If you want one at £4 then why not return the £10 tub and buy one of the other shaped tubs instead"
I don't know where you guys get the courage to go for DTD when it is a different product/barcode/date. I've always been told I should have read the offer ticket in detail
To be honest, this was a little luck on my part. Genuinely didn't realise there were two types knocking about. They weren't on sale anywhere else in the store so all were in this one box and from what I could see they all looked the same. I'm guessing that's why she gave it to me as she could see no difference either! As usual, probabaly a lot depends on the SA and how 'trouty' they're feeling that day
I still get butterflies in my tummy when I go up to CS to get a DTD, had one experience which put me off a bit but I think I'm moving on, though definitely a bit more cautious in that store. My DS lost his comforter in store and she even came across trouty when I gave her my details in case they found it! What an inconvenience a phonecall would be to keep a little boy happy!0 -

This time, your shop would have been £ 10.57 cheaper at ASDA so we'll give you a voucher for the difference back!**
:T:T I'll use tomorrow plus return oral-b refills, wrong one;)
day has disappeared:eek:... plus the disney one:mad::mad:
I used a JTD at weekend in Mr T. On the receipt I had returned some of the shower gel and CS had marked the receipt. When I tried to use my JTD voucher the SA asked me if that was the product that the JTD was against. I said "No" which was truthful as the comparison was against frazzles. I asked him if it was the norm to check receipts for an item that might have been returned that had a JTD against it and he said "Yes, it's surprising what some people do to get a voucher". Since then I've received a JTD with the Oral B refills on for £16.xx and I've destroyed the voucher as the whole shop was for less than £40 and it would appear too obvious if they check the receipt that I'd returned the items.
How does everyone else get away with it, or do your stores not check when using a DTD or do customer services not check properly when returning an item on a receipt where the JTD has been used?
Hope this makes sense.0 -

Simply Add ready meals (to be found in the fridge aisles) are 2 for £6 but taking £6 off so you end up paying only £1 to £.1.50 for both meals :-)
