Has anyone managed to get the SA meals glitch instore today?

    TIA :)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

Actually he made quite a bad mistake there. What he SHOULD have done is allowed you the more expensive one at the 4.97 as thats where it was displayed/described/priced.

Never mind....keep your eyes peeled, you'll get even ;)

Will do lol, just maybe not in that store

  • Just got this email! I've thrown away all my receipts that got price checked, so I better not have lost out on something good! lol

I wonder what the "gesture of goodwill" is??
    Dear Asda Price Guarantee customer

We recently enabled a small number of our customers to check their till receipts on the same day that they purchased their shopping. Normally customers have to wait until 6am the following day.

We have identified that you were one of those who completed an Asda Price Guarantee comparison between 19th March and 29th March on the same day that you purchased your shopping.

When the system went live we experienced an undetected technical issue. Therefore we would like to invite you to check your till receipt again on www.asda.com/priceguarantee to ensure your shopping was 10% cheaper at Asda compared to Tesco, Sainsbury, Morrisons and Waitrose.

If you no longer have a copy of your original till receipt, or it is more than 28 days old (meaning you can't carry out a comparison), please complete this form by clicking here with a contact postal address so that we can send you a gesture of goodwill.

Any Asda till receipts for groceries purchased outside of 19th March - 29th March are unaffected by this issue, as are any checks completed between 19th and 29th March in the usual way - after 6am on the day after purchase.

We'd like to apologise for any inconvenience.

    The Asda Price Guarantee Team

Thanks guys - I'm feeling a little lonely at the moment so I thought I'd take a trip to T's - at least I'll be surrounded by people for a little bit!

Was it you that posted it wouldn't let you use the coupons with a multibuy?

I was at the SS checkout and as I had already scanned 2 palmolive coupons the SS checkout lady was putting my coupons through for me, maybe it was ok because she did it:huh:

Will have to make a mental note about the multibuys though as I didn't realise that!
Yes it was me. I was at a manned till with a nice young lad who was quite happy to put the coupons through...not an ounce of trout about him!!
He asked how many I'd bought of everything as it was only allowing him to use one of the fairy coupons on the 2 for £2.50 and the same with the flash sprays which bere bogof.
I showed him and he said lets try again....they wouldn't scan and they wouldn't go through manually either....and he turned his screen around to show me that they were'nt being accepted.
He scanned all six of the palmolive coupons....no problem and the same with the Oral B (although I only had one of those)
He also took the £4 off a £20 spend which a lovely little birdie sent me :A
It's no big deal, but I wouldn't have bothered with the fairy liquid as I could have got the smaller bottles for 25p each whereas these 4 have cost me 75p each as it only accepted two coupons
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Anyone who is connected to a school who would like to raise some money might be interested in looking at Edu Voice, they are a company who pay for surveys within the educational sector. This includes teachers/parents/PTA/students - so pretty much anyone. You get paid something for every survey not like some sites. The email i received today paid out a £5 amazon voucher for 1 survey
Don't know if I am allowed to put the link on here but if you google Edu Voice you should be ok, if not PM me and I will give you the link
If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:
