    Ah I'm with you now.

Tricky one this but you SHOULD still have got your DTD. Its a bit of a grey area if a customer obviously just plonks one wrong item in the wrong place, but this sounds like a clear case of mislabelling. I had it myself with the epil5's as theres actually 2 types of packaging and both carry different barcodes....tesco got in a right tiz over those (much to my amusement and advantage of course!!).

If you contact HO after having already been and had a refund they usually won't do anything. In future, don't accept a refund at all and contact HO. They usually contact the store and put them right.

To be accused in the manner you were though is inexcusable and HO need to be made aware of this so they can be trained how to talk to customers.

yeah I walked out without taking anything and called the 0800505555 number who called the store but the manager who had already accused me of this told them over the phone that I had picked up the completely wrong product. Guy on phone said he was unsure of that else he could do other than giving me my full refund and then letting me buy the correctly priced £4.97 version (not the ones I had paid for). Had had enough by then and just went back to Mr s to get some more fairy liquid and Palmolive to try get a slight smile back on my face lol.

  • Is it? I wouldn't know. I only bought some in preparation of sticking my DVDs on eBay. I was going to buy brown wrapping paper to wrap them in then I realised that I still have a roll of brown greaseproof paper that I bought for the MB Christmas cakes that will never get used so I'll just use that.

I think that went over your head HC...perhaps I should have said Scots stuff. :p;)

Actually he made quite a bad mistake there. What he SHOULD have done is allowed you the more expensive one at the 4.97 as thats where it was displayed/described/priced.

Never mind....keep your eyes peeled, you'll get even ;)

    Oh, like Music Magpie...

Hmmmm, pretty sure they would be rubbish but worth a look I suppose....

Zapper offered me 97p for season 1 part one of CSI: Miami but they only offered 58p for part 2 of season 4. Surely the older the item the less it's worth.
