We took Blue Badge documents into CAB this morning and Una has rang to say she has now faxed them through so Blue Badge should be on it's way to us soon :j

Shortly after we got home, Eric the Postie came and ...... drum roll please ............ DLA awarded at Higher Rate for Care AND Mobility components as from 14/03/2012. Back payment up to date is now in Alan's bank and we are now off to garages to look at Motability Cars :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j

If you've already got a car don't bother getting a Mobility car as you will lose a chunk of the DLA to go towards the car. Enjoy the extra money.

Phone HO. I'd be livid! Obviously you didn't do it on purpose, you picked up 2 because they looked like a bargain and would make nice pressies. Since when was it the customer's job to check every digit, on every SEL, for every product you buy, just to check the staff are doing their jobs properly. Isn't that what supervisors are for?

Yeah thats going off to HO soon. Funning thing was, after going out to speak to the 0800505555 number caught 2 managers speaking about me/ the situation when I went back in to get my refund. At that time they said we have this here we can sell you for £4.97 but you cant have what you picked up. Just took full refund and went off to a few very odd stares from them behind the desk. Surprised I never swore.
