I have had the exact thing happen to me.

Be careful with your neighbour above you. In my case they told me the issue had been resolved for the wait for a plumber, then through the night they tried to fix it without anyone and the water in my ceiling spread to my light fixture and poured through it flooding the room.

Your room will be ok and in time you perhaps will not need to paint, despite the way it appears now. Make sure they send someone though so you can be sure the water is not continuing to move.

Yep, buy in pairs. The Tikka Masala is best as it works out 25p a pot!
