Afternoon Elite, just had a marathon catching up session, but as much as you all can talk, can I just say that the support on this thread is amazing.....so I'll add my hugs to everyone who needs or want them

Been avoiding Ts for a few days as DH and I are heading to Spain for a few days in the morning and needed to run down the fridge contents and freezers are full anyway but now Im reading about 1p choc and 4p clothes!! Do I nip over and have a hunt or do I finish the housework and packing that Ive been promising myself would be done by lunchtime??? Mmmmm, I'll have another coffee before I decide:rotfl:
Can I just ask that you dont talk to much over the next 5 or 6 days, or find any mega glitches as I really wont have access to the thread and cant abide missing reading any posts:rotfl:. Like someone else said earlier, its like a mini soap opera and I feel Ive missed out on something if I skip a page or 2!! Sorry for the ramble, good luck bargain hunting xx

ps big hugs to beki -so sorry i didn't answer your pm, i have been meaning to but recently just don't even seem to have time for keeping up with the thread even at the moment, am thinking about you though and may get chance to come up your way one day!
Don't worry I know what its like especially in the hols! Be nice to see you (no pun intended) especially as I daren't drive far at min hope you and kids are keeping well x
Hi Beki - this is not unusual. I have known several people with this leukemia, apparently it is age-related or some such, and does not progress, they just live with it and are normally fine. It is not normally discovered unless they are having a blood test for something else.

In other words - don't panic!

How rude of me - good morning everyone. Another lovely wet and windy day here. Still, at least I won't have to water the garden for a few days!!
    Beki,
My FIL had a kind of mild form & they didn't treat for ages.
Thank you both, I rang him today and they said it is Chronic Leukemia and won't treat other than he has to have a few blood transfusions as he suffers with anemia anyway, thank you for the reassurance, it's one of those scary words you hear and think the worst straight away!

My Love to you too Beki xxx
    Thank you honey x

I feel bad as I have missed so much I don't know how all of you are especially those with personal problems, I keep catching bits but it doesn't make sense so if I have not commented to each of you personally it's because I genuinely am unsure not because I don't care :)

Take care all off to treat my mum at a new local card/craft shop and maybe search for some hats :)

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)
  • Just tried to get the palmolive voucher, its been so popular they are not issuing any more boo hoo !!!

i've just noticed something from this mornings price check....

the chicken tikka masala has been compared at 56p and the beef chilli at 69p....

    How odd is that??

    I had a thought.

I have been searching for the McCain pdf and I know I found it ages ago but I somehow must have forgotten to save it and it does not work from the link any more.

I would not normally ask and I will not be offended should no one do this, but is there any chance some kind person could send me a copy of their McCains 50p pdf I would be so grateful. Thank you in advance
