Good Evening Elite :hello:
Well I've enjoyed reading and replying to lots of PM's for the last hour!Thank you lovelies :A So I thought it was about time I posted!
Had a nice day shopping today. Thought I wouldn't bother setting an alarm after I found out the carboot sale season hasn't started yet....woke up at 12pm :p So I didn't have long to plan my shops with all my expiring cond spends and worked myself into a right panic! :rotfl:Funny now, wasn't at the time!:o Went to an Extra and did 3 big shops, pretty happy with what I've got. I didn't do a JTD shop, and I don't think I will be unless there's a humongous improvement in the efficiency of the price checker, it just can't be trusted! As many others have said, I'd rather just shop in Asda. I managed to get 2 of the Simply Add chicken tikka masala meals for 50p too :TThank you to GlitchHunter :T Messed up one of my shops though, forgot to hand over my £2 off £20
(expired today)
Scanned lots of bits and pieces, Mothers Day and Easter stock but no 1p finds yet
Wombled one long receipt but not sure it's of much use with the broken price checker!
Made it to A's for the very last of the whoopsies and got a veggie supreme pizza, some eclairs, chicken enchiladas and some egg fried rice to go with the Simply addall for 40p
Wombled a fair few A's receipts. 2 I've been able to check already produced 49p and £1.63. Will pop the others in tomorrow :THad a good look round for Easter choc but couldn't find anything except overpriced broken whoopsies!
Decided to use £19.68 of WHSmith giftcards on 24 1st class and 24 2nd class stamps. I know they're not at a discount and the Ocado deal is amazing but I've got a few giftcards to use up so the way I see it is free stamps:D Got trouted when I attempted the greetings card deal again though it's still running!
Came home and had a lovely walk with Mum and the dogs :A
Dinner was a roast pork and stuffing joint whoopsied to 25p with 10p king edward potatoes roasted, 15p whoopsied white cabbage, 10p carrots and 10p parsnips roasted
Looking forward to the launch of a new price flop tomorrow, fingers crossed we can find a few ways to maximise the savings:cool:
Hope you're well and have enjoyed a sunny, restful Sunday!
Just enjoying a Thorntons easter egg and ice cold pepsi max while watching Notting Hill (never watched it all the way through!!)'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

Thanks for this HC and for the previous post, it does mean that we are aware of the ones to avoid. You say that some of the online sites are just CPW in disguise, is this a bad thing? Are we just as well going into our local one in the first place. If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
Goodnight all,
keep falling into a med induced sleep so just go to bed anyway before I break the (thankfully insured) netbook.
Thank you for the info on the extended Disney DVD offer, know now to wait until Saturday but hopefully will get some of the batteries free on ThursdaySPC #329 £471/£500 banked

It's not necessarily a bad thing but it will be the same as buying the phone from a CPW shop and it will lock itself to the first network is it used on...0 -
Relaxing day for us
No car boot visit without the van on the road
Difficult night though as, due to Alan's curry & chips late last night, I was up 3 times during the night changing his stoma bag after leaks. You don't need the detailsbut that'll teach him to chew his food properly
Lots of washing to do today too
After the last bag change at 6.15am, Alan got up and stayed up, watching the grand prix, then classic car restorations followed by the afternoon footie. I stayed in bed to catch up with my sleep
Alan had a look through the workshop manual for the van and has decided that it is an easy job which should take about an hour, and thinks that he can manage to do it  Our friend Stuart rang and, as he is away Mon-Wed this week, said that he will do it Thursday, but then he rang another friend who can possibly do it for us on Tuesday, and failing that, he suggested another friend who we could ring to ask and, given the circumstances, would be sure to do it for us. We are spoilt for choice for help which is wonderful but Alan says he will try to do it himself. I suggested that he tried tomorrow to remove the old cable and see if he can manage. The part will probably need to be ordered tomorrow for collection on Tuesday, so if he has got the old one out, he would be able to fit the new one then. He is on strict instructions from Stuart, and from me, to take care and not push himself too much, and to leave it if he has any problems whatsoever
We shall see what tomorrow bringsI am getting tired so will off to my bed soon, so goodnight to the wonderful Elite

I'm so glad to be back home. I didn't win anything at the National and went TWO DAYS without benefitting from a glitch or whoopsie!!
This was remedied tonight when i got tomorrows dinner for a total of 58p (Chicken Kievs, Coleslaw, Salad and Crispy Potato Slices - all whoopsied tonight)
I'm off to an Extra tomorrow to try and find some of the hand decorated chocolate hearts that are 1p. I'm assuming that it's the ones below:
Any other Valentines going through at 1p yet that I missed?Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

:eek: Seriously?!!!!Thank you so much for pointing it out to me though
When were these found to be 1p??
The store I went in today I know had loads of these last week but I didn't even think about looking for them today. I scanned the Thorntons ones that spell out 'Iyou' and they're 75p. Awww I am mega gutted about these, the store is an hour's bus ride away and I'm wondering if it's worth it! Nightmare!
