Hello people. Been out of the game for three weeks, had a visitor an been very busy! Just caught up on this entire thread, took me two days.

In regards to the batteries, they were continued last time they were on offer? Wouldn't be surprised if they roll over for another month.

Those chocolate hearts, 1p? I saw dozens of these in an EXTRA somewhere a few weeks ago.

Not been to T's for a few weeks, went to ASDA for my shopping Thursday & bought a chicken. Went to cook it today for me and the kids, went OOD Friday! Shocking, never had a chicken go OOD so early when buying from Tesco, never even thought to check the date. I don't expect food to be OOD within three days ever :(

Took em to Pizza Hut instead :P

A suggestion, how about people post SPOILER ALERT or similar in the title if talking about scores/results/programmes etc?

It was lovely talking to you too last night. You are a lovely girl and have always got a kind word for everyone. You obviously are a wonderful daughter to your mum too....and it's clear you have a very special relationship.
I'm so surprised you know my area so well having spent lots of holidays down here. It was almost like talking to a "local" :)
Look forward to another chat soon :A
    xx

:o Thanks Purdy :o I love DEVON (not Dorset! :o:p) :rotfl:

I very much look forward to another chat soon too:A

Went to friends last night and had such a fun evening. We were all rolling about in laughter (at my expense :)). My OH was telling them about my obsession for bargains and our mountain of cleaning stuff....especially fabric conditioner. It became more and more exaggerated and ended up like something you'd hear from Peter Kay :D
And they were howling when he revealed how I approached a total stranger and asked "Are you a friend of Martin's?"
Then he picked up my handbag "Go on, show 'em your notebooks...show 'em your notebooks!!"
Different coloured ones for groceries, household and toys.....all in code only we'd understand ;)
It was all very silly...but so funny.
Does you good to have a good giggle.....and I can appreciate that to the uninitiated, we must come across as a right load of nutters......until you show them what you've got for next to nothing. :D
Does anyone else here find they are a constant source of amusement for their friends and family....or is it just me? :rotfl:

As many others have replied.....no it's definitely not just you! My friends think I'm a nutter!! They regularly leave with a sack of anything from DTD wine to OEP to TCO's. My neighbour who I take things down to every other day or so has told all her friends including our old neighbours all about my exploits!!! When I was in T's doing a big shop with my SSM vouchers I bumped into my old neighbour and he said 'Oh I've been told how you get all your shopping free!!':rotfl:
just ordered this book from amazon it is all the talk just now people are going crazy to buy it. i'm on holiday for a week looking forward to doing some tescoing and some reading hehe

Ok not sure I should admit this but the book is basically !!!!!! for women....it's pure smut and absolutely bloomin fantastic!! :o:o:o:o I read it maybe a year or so ago. I don't know if anyone's followed the story about the book? It's actually a Twilight fanfiction :D Originally the characters were Edward and Bella but due to the amazing success, the author managed to get a publishing deal so now the characters are Christian and Anastasia ;) I don't know if it'll feel right reading it after it's rebranding :p As most of you can tell I'm pretty loyal to my Twilight self (even though this is a totally manufactured story where Edward and Bella are most definitely all human!!) But for anyone that wants a good read.....OMG, all I can say is don't read in any public places or leave it hanging around unless of course you want it to be found ;););) There were quite a lot of bits I skipped because it was a bit too graphic but the story underneath was enough to keep me interested and I ended up really liking it.

    Enjoy Blondy! :D
