GlitchHunter post all the glitches you want but (don't) think that gives you the right to be rude and insulting to people. Nip over to HUKD if you wanna act like that.

    You owe someone an apology.

I have to agree wholeheartedly and I'm only posting this because I haven't seen one yet.

Your most recent Simply Add glitch was brilliant, made a lot of people very happy, stocked up lots of freezers across the country and even made people laugh with your brilliant pirate chat. I personally didn't go looking for any Simply Add (freezer and fridge both bursting) but I loved reading your posts and seeing all the success stories you generated

BUT, the name calling is really not nice or necessary and unfortunately it has detracted from what you have brought to the site.

I get that you are frustrated but what are we supposed to do? Never talk about any sport ever because we don't know if everyone has watched it at their own convenience yet?

My brother tries to and avoid some sport results, sometimes with and sometimes without success. He keeps off facebook, avoids forums, keeps the radio off, stays off news sites and even answers his phones with "hi, please don't tell me the score of X v X"!! If you wanted to avoid the score then you should have shut yourself off from the world completely

Don't forget people the BOGOF on batteries ends on Wednesday... this one's a corker there are just so many around each store!

    :j:j:j

Well almost off to bed, yes I'd agree with that and there are new ones with actual printed stating buy 1 get 1 free.

How I loved the last one and still have a draw full of them.

Did you get the burgers? You can have a pack of mine if you didn't. I can quite easily meet you at D today to do a swap...

What do I owe you for the SA's?

Delivery scheduled for tomorrow afternoon - driver will contact you on your mobile with approximate time :D

Got 6 packs of burgers from W, had to transfer them into freezer bags and play 3-freezer jenga to get them in though :rotfl:

    The SA's were £1 each

Is the disney dvds a no go then for tomorrow? I think I read someone say it was extended till the 20th.
I posted earlier about the Disney DVD's. Don't go looking for them tomorrow. I had an email from T on Fri 13th, saying only "7 days left on Disney BOGOF".... so I assume it will be from next Sat 21st onwards

I have a question for anyone who is in the know about IPhones (HC) If my DS2 buys an unlocked iPhone outright does he need a special SIM to be able to use it on another network. I have been offered a blackberry contract on virgin for £8pm for 100 mins/500 texts and 500mb which I think would be enough for him. Would he be able to use the SIM from the Blackberry int he IPhone? Not sure if this would work TIA

    Hiya,

Firstly, if he buys the phone SIM free direct from Apple it will be factory unlocked and he can swap SIMs any time he likes, this is particularly useful if he ever wants to travel abroad as it's often cheaper to buy a local SIM and top it up. If he buys it unlocked from Carphone Warehouse then I have heard that the phone will lock itself to the network of the first SIM that's put in it. I do know that O2 will unlock iPhones but you generally have to be with them a year before they will do it which is a bit of a con if you've paid the money for the handset separately to the SIM. :( If he is buying the phone secondhand and the seller is selling it unlocked then be aware, iPhones can be unlocked if you know what you're doing but some jail breaking methods remove features, certain features don't work etc and again, the phone could lock itself to the first network it is on.

As for the SIM card itself, the iPhone 3G and 3GS both take standard SIM cards but the iPhone 4 and 4S both require a Micro SIM. SIM swaps from standard to micro can be done and is fairly straightforward to do. Be aware though that most Blackberry tariffs are Blackberry specific and if the network detects that a SIM set up for a Blackberry is being used in an iPhone (or vice versa) then things like data allowances may not apply and he could end up paying for his data if he doesn't realise this is happening.

    Sounds good to me!

Edit - I mean batteries on Thursday,Friday,Saturday and for the forseeable future no doubt...I got some last time on the day before the promotion started again, that's how long the SEL's were out of date...must have been weeks!

If it's unlocked then that will work, you may have to cut the sim to size tho.

It's not as easy at that though....

My neighbour downstairs went from an iPhone to a Blackberry when she upgraded and she had to be switched to a BB tariff. She was told it would take 24 hours but the minute they put her SIM in to the BB she got a text from O2 saying they had detected a SIM not set up to a BB tariff and that data iPhone data allowances wouldn't apply on the BB. I was with her when this happened and I quizzed the guy in the shop if the same was true the other way about and sadly it was. :(
