    Good morning all.
Lovely sunny day again....but it started out like this yesterday and while I was in T's there was the most almighty thunderstorm. Everybody literally leapt out of their skins at an enormous clap of thunder.. the rain was bouncing off the roof....and real flash flooding!!
Drove home 15 miles away and nothing...roads were all still completely dry.

Went to friends last night and had such a fun evening. We were all rolling about in laughter (at my expense :)). My OH was telling them about my obsession for bargains and our mountain of cleaning stuff....especially fabric conditioner. It became more and more exaggerated and ended up like something you'd hear from Peter Kay :D
And they were howling when he revealed how I approached a total stranger and asked "Are you a friend of Martin's?"
Then he picked up my handbag "Go on, show 'em your notebooks...show 'em your notebooks!!"
Different coloured ones for groceries, household and toys.....all in code only we'd understand ;)
It was all very silly...but so funny.
Does you good to have a good giggle.....and I can appreciate that to the uninitiated, we must come across as a right load of nutters......until you show them what you've got for next to nothing. :D
Does anyone else here find they are a constant source of amusement for their friends and family....or is it just me? :rotfl:
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Morning all..hope today is a good day for everyone.
A beautiful sunny day here, totally blue skies - it looks like a summers day but it is bloomin cold.
((Hugs)) :grouphug: to everyone that needs them (Fudgecake, ChelseaGirl, Mr & Mrs 3 dogs especially). What a pain for 3 dogs van breaking down last night, but I've never known a recovery be so quick!! She must have been parked outside of his house at the rate he got to her.

OH off golfing today so he's disappeared with the car til about 2pm, no chance of going to T's. And I don't fancy the sunday scrum tbh. Will head up to my local M&S simply food nr train station instead after lunch as they reduce really well. Time to make my 2nd cup of tea of the day (already had porridge, hot water and lemon and a cup of tea and 2 biscuits as up since 7am with DS). Back in a little while

Morning lovely sunny day here I thought it was very warm until I realised I'd left the heationg on last night:rotfl:
Hope MrandMrs3Dogs enjoyed their warmed up chinese and hope the van is easy to repair.
I'm up early to watch the grand prix I love it.
My Family all make fun of me about planning for WW3. At christmas I got cards saying Merry Te$co Christmas:rotfl::rotfl:
I got a new car and my Dad told the salesman the boot space was a priority for all my T's bags:o
I hope everyone has a great day. I am not going to T's although the temptation to browse the clearance aisle is great.

Thats pants:(I've got IBS and its been bad lately so I've cut out choccie and diet coke and its miles better:eek::eek:but choccie I don't know how I'll flipping exist with out it:(

    Morning all,

Still catching up but just wanted to make a suggestion Nikki.

I have a friend with IBS and she has to avoid caffeine, so if you find that you are better without the coke and chocolate, it might be worth you trying decaff tea and coffee too. Have you tried the decaff coke? Sorry, have no suggestions about the chocolate though :(

I can't eat too much chocolate or drink more than a small glass of wine or it sets off my migraines so I know how it feels :(

I had that same problem on my very first DTD :eek::eek:

It was by chance and only a few days after I'd started reading this forum, still a lurker then! Man in front of me at checkout had been overcharged on some mayonnaise by double the price :T SA went off to check and I told him about DTD so off he goes to CS.

I went back and bought 4 of them...hardly subtle I know! when I went to CS the SA was processing it and I said "sorry about this lol" and she said "don't worry, the man said you would be coming over":eek::eek:

DTD no question but made me think twice about helping someone!
Love it Smart1e.. some people just open their mouth and out comes the frst thing that pops into the head. I am normally like that, too honest for my own good, but when in T, I mentally tape my mouth up for fear of incriminating myself!! :rotfl:
