Afternoon all - back from a very blustery trip up the A1 - I am so glad to be homeSeeing as it's Wednesday, think I'll check out Superdrug, thanks to op for the tipBoo, no bargains in Superdrug! Why is it so hard to find sale stuff in there?
I remembered the tip and we went to look there was a reduced section but it was all tat and most of it was 60p or overHas anyone here tried Graze boxes?
I would love to try one as you get the first one free but I'm really wary of giving my card details and then having trouble cancelling,or worse - forgetting to cancel!
I'd love to know what somebody thinks of them..they look so nice but I'm not paying £3.79 lol!
Hubs signed up for these first box was OK - he told them his preferences and the second box at half price had everything in it that he said he didn't like - so he rang to cancel - his third box was already being processed so he received that but they didn't charge him for it and again it had things in he didn't like - but he is a bit of a fusspot so there was no problem in the cancelling bit - hth0 -
Oulton Broad, near Lowestoft. Is that Norfolk or Suffolk?
Oh dear you can tell I failed Geography:o
Watton is quite a drive from Oulton Broad and I'm not sure there is enough there for a day out.
Lowestoft and surrounding area has loads of places to see and things to do.
I quite often go to Lowestoft for the day in warmer weatherThere's no place like home

Its fantastic isn't it, all that walking around looking for 'treasure' and they don't even realise they're getting exercise! Plus they flake out and early to bed :j And even the grumpy teenager has to hide his excitement when he finds the cache!Grocery Challenge: June £92/£5000 -

So here is what I did (feel free to comment).......
BIG slow cooker.
Got some whoopsied mushrooms last night (6p) and stacks of salad onions (3p) and 2 bags of the soup/broth chopped veg mix (5p) so begin with I put 2 tins chopped tomatos into the slowy along with a pint or so of stock made with 3 veg oxo cubes.
In went 2 bags of the chopped veg, 4 bunches salad onions and a punnet of mushrooms, then wet a couple of spuds nicely cubed, 250g of mixed pulses which had soaked over night.
The freezer seems overrun with beef so ferreted out a kilo of caserole steak and a kilo brisket joint which were trimmed, cubed, fried off and tossed in too.
Have I missed anything?
I know whats missing from that picture a few of my dumplins :rotfl:0
