Bring your winter gear and forget the shorts and tshirts! Temp between 8 and 11 degrees and a cold northerly wind, which will be absolutely perishing if you intend to do any mountain tops! Will be in my caravan in Grasmere where are you going? Sadly no Mr T's anywhere nearby. Wrap up warm. Can't see if much snow on the tops from here but Kirkstone pass is closed so there must be plenty about! Enjoy the Lakes they are stunning.:):) Oooh thanks Lindylou - excited now. North - near Ullswater so relatively easy to get to (hopefully). Caravan - that sounds a bit chilly?
Yep, will be at least 2 of biggies - bit of an argument going on because we did Helvellyn and Scafel last time but I'm not a fan of Skiddaw ..... If we do H then we may very well start from Grasmere so I will give you a big wave when I am half way upAnd hopefully High Street. All weather permitting.

A huuuuuge thank you to Purdita for the wine list yesterday (on the old thread). Only had time to pop into a small Express not expecting anything, and found some Chardonnay (Kumala) with an ood sel and got paid to take it away.0
