The barcode ends 000037 and they were a screwcap. I was really tempted to get a trolley full, as I cannot go anywhere without a drink in my bag. As I only drink coffee, water or red wine, these are ideal!! But, Dave always complains when I really stock up, saying 'its only a bargain if you don't have them hanging around. Blah blah, you've got more money in the freezer than the bank....blah blah!! Managed to get a bag full of meat from Morrisons, Ch*adle yesterday, too. The butchers were having a clear out. Like a wolly, I only went in with £4 in my pocket as I only wanted salad leaves! They were clearing turkey crowns £20 down to £4odd. Steak, different cuts of pork, trays of mince, lamb etc all down to 20%/25%. I am still spewing that I didn't have my bank card, but I did leave it at home so that I wouldn't go crazy!
I did come out with with a few trays of pork ribs, as I have got an amazing chinese rib recipe. Also got loads of pork and steak, as well as whoopee salad leaves, and still walked away with change!!!

Is anyone else still waiting for the £10 M&S voucher from Happli that did the deal? I've emailed them a couple of times but had no response. I definitely won't be dealing with them again.

The postman has just been a brought me 3 samples of Lenor Citrus and Spice Scent fabric conditioner. It's very generous as you normally only get one sample in an envelope. I've just popped the washer on and the sachet did smell nice. I can't recall requesting a sample though, but I apply for that many free things I forget what to expect.

I've found a brilliant way to tire the pup out - I've given him a football and he's running round the garden pushing it with his nose. He's quite good at controlling it but he doesn't care about my plants in the borders. I must remember to give the summer bedding plants a miss this year.

I've had 2 of my pricecheck results back but I'm still waiting for 4 more. I won on one and lost on the second one which contained the cheap Aqua Pura water.

My DD only drinks milk or water and very occasionally apple juice so I spend a fortune on still water.

I didn't buy anything from happli but I read on a thread either on this site or hotdeals that there were problems with people getting their vouchers or their money back.

Bl00dy kids form down the street! I want to wash the car and DD has created an audience of probably the most horrible kids who live near us. They are always round by us as their parents won't have them playing by them!

    B*GGER AND BLAST! :(

    Morning all! Hope everyone's well.......

NOT having a good day today, long-awaited furniture just arrived but with plinths on the bottom not legs, now I thought long and hard about keeping them anyway but the chest of drawers and dressing table cost me £650 overall, money I'm happy to spend on custom-built solid pine furniture but I HATE plinths, to me they are the ugliest thing you can have on furniture, they ruin an otherwise beautiful construction.

The guy whose business it is was obviously angry and I think verging on upset, not at me I hasten to add, but at his workers who made the mistake. He said it was also his fault for not checking but they'd been so busy he'd just had to trust them.

Unfortunately it's not as simple as taking plinths off and sticking legs on, but I made it clear I was happy to compromise if he/they came up with a solution that got rid of the plinth without sacrificing the furniture and having to start again. He apologised to me about it, I said I was sorry but I really REALLY don't like plinths. I have a tendency to over-apologise but I decided to try reining myself in and it worked, I think I was reasonable about the situation.

I'm just so disappointed, I've been living out of boxes in my bedroom for months as his newborn baby daughter was really ill so obviously he had to drop everything, I was originally meant to be getting this furniture in early January. I'm just so :(:(:(, not angry just really sad as I was looking forward to it so much (pathetic as that sounds!) and I consider Friday the 13ths to be lucky!

    Sorry for offloading xxx

On the up-side though, price checks are in!! :D

Sorry to hear about your furniture - I can understand you will be bitterly disappointed and I hope they manage to resolve it soon.

Thanks for the reminder about Friday the 13th, someone mentioned it yesterday but with not being at work, I hadn't give it a thought today.
