    Hi guys!
I really should have posted this one yesterday, but had my hands full and didn't managed to get online.
I went to the Tesco Didsb^ry store yesterday and managed to bag a couple of bargains!!
Bottles of Highland Spring Water, 12x500ml, 82p!!! Not RTC, had a label advertising this price.
Also, Tesco Finest 10x Finest Steak Burgers- half price (£6 down to £3)- store shelf labels and scanning at £2!!!
I didn't manage to get into any other stores to check if this was store specific or not, but without a doubt one to watch out for!!

Ah new I forgot something! I also seen these as £2. The only reason I noticed them was because they had yellow reduced stickers covering the half price stickers, so that caught my attention ;) The SEL was for £2 though. Pretty good price I'd say. Would have got some but there are already whoopsied burgers in my freezer and no more space :(:(

Just realised when I was dashing round T's earlier Yodel tried to deliver :eek: When I first saw the card I was thinking I wouldn't get it 'til next week, but they've left it next door :D:D Only they are not in any more
So I'm now watching out the window for them to get back! :rotfl:

Hope the other 'Highlanders' are getting theres as well :D

I've given up hope of ever getting any emails back :(
Thankfully they were only wombles so I'm not going to kick up a fuss about it.
But I really feel for the ones who had planned shops and were expecting decent results.

    B*GGER AND BLAST! :(

    Morning all! Hope everyone's well.......

NOT having a good day today, long-awaited furniture just arrived but with plinths on the bottom not legs, now I thought long and hard about keeping them anyway but the chest of drawers and dressing table cost me £650 overall, money I'm happy to spend on custom-built solid pine furniture but I HATE plinths, to me they are the ugliest thing you can have on furniture, they ruin an otherwise beautiful construction.

The guy whose business it is was obviously angry and I think verging on upset, not at me I hasten to add, but at his workers who made the mistake. He said it was also his fault for not checking but they'd been so busy he'd just had to trust them.

Unfortunately it's not as simple as taking plinths off and sticking legs on, but I made it clear I was happy to compromise if he/they came up with a solution that got rid of the plinth without sacrificing the furniture and having to start again. He apologised to me about it, I said I was sorry but I really REALLY don't like plinths. I have a tendency to over-apologise but I decided to try reining myself in and it worked, I think I was reasonable about the situation.

I'm just so disappointed, I've been living out of boxes in my bedroom for months as his newborn baby daughter was really ill so obviously he had to drop everything, I was originally meant to be getting this furniture in early January. I'm just so :(:(:(, not angry just really sad as I was looking forward to it so much (pathetic as that sounds!) and I consider Friday the 13ths to be lucky!

    Sorry for offloading xxx

On the up-side though, price checks are in!! :D

I'm quite interested in reading the book also but, the same as you, although I'd like to give up the thought of no more cigs isn't a pleasant one. It would be great if I could have a couple a week and be happy with that.

Thanks guys, I will give it a go.

Sanya - Thanks for your reply also. Good luck! Really hope you manage it!

I've had my price checks from Monday. 1 planned jtd and 2 wombles. Hopefully they'll all start coming through for everyone now.
