:D Love the Auchan :T The one next to Disneyland Paris is big. :o First time I'd encountered those travelator things that your trolley locks in too :o was so convinced it would career downhill with nephew in the seat :o
As soon as we get to Disneyland (ok a few rides first ;)) we then catch the train to the Auchan & get our food supplies :T so much cheaper living off fruit, french sausage, crusty baguettes & cheese & wine :D

The king prawns are usually half the price on the fishmongers. We normally get some of those and some mussels to cook, then have it with baguettes, followed by Brie etc and washed down with wine. The dl jars of prawn cocktail sauce au whisky from the Carrefour are as good as the one that I make. :o So usually bring some back for convenience.

It's funny looking back. When Eurodisney first opened, the French transport system people were on strike. We were driving and there were no Eurodisney signposts - the French thought it tacky!! The signs said Marne La Vall!e with a small Mickey on them! We thought that we were in the wrong place as it was so deserted. Still, it meant that the park was very easy to get around as there were no queues!

    Whoever is going, have fun!

    :)

On the subject of why 11+ wasn't it because thread 11 stayed as thread 11 (plus)?

Several dramas this morning. 1stly getting youngest son off for his 7.30 train he goes off without his phone. Fortunatly I notice as soon as they have set off for the station so OH gives him his at the station. So I had to have a crash course in modern technology and I am in charge of youngests sons phone for the week.

Then the postie brings me OHs car tax - £190 and the tax self assessment short form. They are still convinced that we dont need to complete one each year. I am equally convinced that we do.So just to spite them I do fill it in each year. Last year Inland Revenue owed us 60p - a small triumph!

2 JTD emails came in, one came to wrong email address, one was a receipt not even mine so I've entered it yet again.

On the plus side I weigh myself and now I have lost 5.6lbs :T

Plus the new Tastecard arrived, its a two month one so it will cover us into mid June and cover holidays and breaks. I am also online at the right moment to get a box of shreddies for ourselves and eldest child,

Also the SSM box was redlivered so I dont have to wait until Monday for it but I am waiting for OH to get back for the grand opening ceremony - I get him to photograph all of my wins and out the pictures on my fb page - very sad as they are so pitifully few and far between.
