I forgot to say, I did really well on a wombled Mr A receipt I checked today, £4.10 :j

BTW, who throws a £100 receipt, which is also your credit card recipt on the floor anyway. It's shocking but people must do, cos a good few of us have found them.

Could one of you elite pop round and take my washing out the machine, so I can get to bed. Up for work at 0415 tomorrow.

    Good evening:)

I received my M&S Rose today and I must admit it is quite pleasant:beer:

No whoopsies at T's today, but probably few potential 1p items -
Cadbury Mini Eggs Tube was reduced to 20p ([STRIKE] 75p[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]35p[/STRIKE] before), Cadbury Wishes&Aero Mint tree 30p. All Lindt mini eggs are gone now :( I've been waiting for these forever.

we're also going to Watchdog, HUKD is alight with moans and so is the facebook page of Homebase.
Thousands have had a similar experience, doesn't help though.

Thanks, several people have emailed and they all got the same response......something like it was misprice and all orders cancelled etc.......this is not true as some people had theirs delivered today.
Credit card put a waiver on so I won't get the overlimit charge but cannot reclaim until after 5th May (delivery date).
Still get a marker on my credit file but not too drastic.

I think you may need to take a step back and look at this from another perspective!

There was a misprice on homebase sofas, the website is running slowly and in your eagerness to take advantage of this glitch, you press confirmation 6 times!

you are not entirely without blame, you win some, you lose some...it's probably not what you want to hear but it's time to move on...

A similar thing happened with sheds a few years back, some were lucky and got a shed for £36, mine was cancelled and I got a phone call and a £10 gift voucher as a goodwill gesture!:D

How can they prove you used a £5 off clothes voucher? I would say I used a price check voucher;) When I've used a coupon or voucher they have sometimes given me the amount on a gift card if the cash paid is less than the refund.

My receipt showed a £5.00 coupon as being used on a £50 shop. I think there have been that many coupons issued for £5 off a £25 spend on clothes that she knew full well what the coupon was for. There was also someone else in front of me that had been hoping for a refund and had used a £5 off, they too were having to do an exchange. I don't know if they're just more vigilant in my store or if they've cottoned on to what some people are doing, but I wish I'd waited until Saturday morning to return the jacket when there's more weekend staff on. I'm £5 up though as I returned a suit jacket a couple of days ago which didn't fit my DH either. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think it depends on where you spend them. I have been given change in wilkinsons when I had some before. I think some other shops may give you a gift card of theirs back for change. Mine were small amoutns as well. I think I'll try buying some stamps with them before they go up.

Wilkos...my favourite shop:heart: Thats where I was planning to spend some of it!:money: I will check if mine give change ;)

Welcome back Lala , don't go overexerting yourself though will you.
I can confirm the haribo easter tubs are now £2.50, some in my last resort T's - bought one for my nephew (that I "forgot" about when egg shopping)
Easter eggs - if you can find them are only 1/2 price - which means they are more expensive than we have been paying.
T's had next to nothing left anyway, mr S on the other hand had quite a lot, when do we think they will go 75%? 90%?

Someone said that it will be 75% off from tomorrow, can't confirm tho.
    :(
