Got the knife set and still got over 20 coupons, I spose they'll have to go in the bin

When I went to get some pans in previous offer I found a small pile of coupons lodged under a pan, someone had obviously planted some unwanted ones.... I was very pleased as it meant I could get one more pan..... not sure when the knife offer finishes but perhaps you could think about doing a similar thing?0 -
Welcome back Lala!:D

I saw a whole cage full of these last monday at my metro, I didnt know if they were putting them out, or taking them into the back!:rotfl: What a great Idea using them for little bags to sell!
We did something similar with the halloween 1p stuff, bagged them up for the Christmas fair. Sadly we chose to buy expensive 'christmassy' bags from baker ross, the bags worked out at about 17p each, and we filled them with about 5ps worth of chocs and sweets! Broke my heart spending all that on flippin bags!0 -
Purdita and Fudge_Cake - I hope your migraines have cleared. I know how awful they are as I used to suffer from them every Sunday as a child and eventually found out it was from the smell of the Sunday dinner cooking. I now only get them occasionally ie when I've been extremely upset or in humid weather.
I hope Mr 3Dogs has had another comfortable day - thinking of you both and your dogs.
I'd just settled down on the lounge floor last night and the pup decided that he wanted to play with his squeaky toys. I'll be so glad when Arnie is feeling better and I can go and sleep upstairs in bed again.
Good night all, sweet dreams and I'll catch you tomorrow.0 -
I think you may need to take a step back and look at this from another perspective!
There was a misprice on homebase sofas, the website is running slowly and in your eagerness to take advantage of this glitch, you press confirmation 6 times!
you are not entirely without blame, you win some, you lose some...it's probably not what you want to hear but it's time to move on...
A similar thing happened with sheds a few years back, some were lucky and got a shed for £36, mine was cancelled and I got a phone call and a £10 gift voucher as a goodwill gesture!:D

I may have mis-read the original post, but I'm fairly sure Wendy contacted Homebase after receiving no confirmation the first time. I believe they told her to keep trying until she had confirmation that it had gone through.
If that's the case, it is totally Homebase's fault in my opinion.Gwrys yn Kernow! :j0 -
I took something back today where I had used the £5 off £40, the CSA said she would have to take the £5 off the refund, I said ok thats fine give me the refund minus the £5 and my £5 coupon back, she told me she couldn't generate a £5 coupon (Quelle surprise) I explained that I would be £5 down without the coupon, which really flummoxed her, after opening and shutting her mouth like a trout thats hyperventilating she gave me the full refund

That's what I was going to say, but didn't need to.:)
I must say I was really surprised though, as the receipt with the exact £25 refund consisted solely of whoopsies and 2 pairs of kids shoes :DThe other receipt did have another 2 items of clothing which I haven't returned (yet

Thanks for reminding me about the scissors, couldn't find them in my local but will be going further afield tomorrow according to my mum so may find them somewhere
def. going now
