I'm probably very premature, but Ive been looking online about spending the SSM love2shop voucher ready for when it arrives!
I have found where I can spend it but not how I can spend it.
I assume it will come as one £25 voucher, do they work like gift cards where the credit amount is adjusted every time you spend?
I'm getting to be such a tight !!! with spending, that the thought of spending £25 in one go brings me out in a cold sweat! :rotfl:0 -
Sure I read on HUKD that the Haribo easter tubs are down to £2.50 now, definately one to watch for as these tubs always end up at 1p, we've still got one left from Halloween that was 1p;)Just did the quiz but my excuse for a while will be that I am using my left hand;)
I can confirm the haribo easter tubs are now £2.50, some in my last resort T's - bought one for my nephew (that I "forgot" about when egg shopping)
Easter eggs - if you can find them are only 1/2 price - which means they are more expensive than we have been paying.
T's had next to nothing left anyway, mr S on the other hand had quite a lot, when do we think they will go 75%? 90%?I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

I forgot to mention that I made a genuine purchase of £25 worth of clothes and used a £5 off voucher. I bought DH a lightweight summer rain jacket for £15 plus 2 thermal vests that were reduced to £5 each. I returned the jacket today as it wasn't long enough in the arms. The SA was on the ball today and said she'd only refund £10 as I'd used a voucher or else I could exchange the jacket for something else. I ended up exchanging for 3 more thermal vests but when I got them home I realised that one was a pair of long johns that had been put back in the wrong wrapping, so I'll have to go back again at weekend. Hopefully some pricecheck vouchers will be in by them.
I also used the tatty Asda receipt last night that I was concerned about. I pretended I'd lost it in my handbag and spent ages rummaging around for it but the SA didn't bat an eyelid at the state of it. He'd obviously seen wombled receipts before. I did a bit more wombling on my way out and got another 2 receipts worth £1.60.0 -

From what i gather you have to spend the full amount of the voucher, no change or credit given..
They are paper vouchers but on a plus note the £50 one I received was 5 x £10's and the £15 ones where 1 x £10 and 1 x £5..
Edit to say they also have an expiry of March 2013 and September 2013.Who's the more foolish: the fool, or the fool who follows him?OBI-WAN KENOBI:beer: :A :beer:0 -

I think it depends on where you spend them. I have been given change in wilkinsons when I had some before. I think some other shops may give you a gift card of theirs back for change. Mine were small amoutns as well. I think I'll try buying some stamps with them before they go up.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

How can they prove you used a £5 off clothes voucher? I would say I used a price check voucher;) When I've used a coupon or voucher they have sometimes given me the amount on a gift card if the cash paid is less than the refund.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Thanks Neosi, that might mean I get 2x£10 and 1x£5 :T I can cope with that!
Its really strange how my mentality to money has changed. I couple of years ago I would have gone 'whaho, a free £25' and blown it on something I dont really need...now I want to make it last as long as I can, and only buy what i really need.
I am so careful with everything I buy, I often put things back on the shelf before i get to the till, because I decide that i can manage without whatever it is!!:rotfl:0 -

I want to buy something nice with some of my vouchers as a treat, but also need to buy a new iron. I don't want to just fritter them away if possible. At least they have a long expiry date on themBe thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
