Hi everybody managed to get to a Mr T tonight. I am gutted branston beans are half price I could have saved a whole 10p compared to what the c*0* was selling them at. On the positive side I managed to get the value mushy peas at 8p. The value lasagne pasta was still showing on the label at full price but scanned through the till at 19p I got five packets.
I hope you all have a good evening.

Hi P2TKL I put my dettol bottle in hot water for a few mins then used a pair of tweezers closed to push the lid off.

I've always found Carphone Warehouse quite good. You might not get the price you could get for it if you sold it through the likes of Gumtree. The added advantage with CPW is you can take it in to any of their shops to sell and they pay you by putting the money on to your Debit/Credit Card. This way saves all the hassle of waiting for envelopes to arrive then sending them off. I've sold two iPhones and Westie has sold an iPad 2 to CPW and it's all quick and efficient and we wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Plus it saves all the hassle of putting it on eBay or Gumtree and having people try to haggle you down etc etc.

You can check the price here. http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/mobiles/trade-in

    :)

I am very much liking my i-phone. I am also starting to ask myself why i waited so long  Thanks for your advice on it :)

I even managed to transfer photos from my lappie to it earlier :j This is a big achievement for me!

I still have around 24 dettol refills from when A's had the units for £1, we went to A's I had 2 coupons and found 12 on the shelf so O/H waited with the trolley while I drove home as I was drinking my mobile was ringing and ringing, when I got home I had 6 missed calls rang O/H back and he had asked if they had any more and got the 3 boxes that was in the stockroom, after almost causing the printer to catch fire I dashed back took us ages going through the checkout with 2-3 each :)

wow karlie i'm impressed with your portion sizes you remain a size 8:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

recipe please i've always wanted to make a fish pie but am clueless in the kitchen (except for a good curry:D)

We can get away with larger portions when we're younger, when we're more active and our matabolism is higher! but if you continue to eat more than your body needs it will quite simply turn to fat!

A couple of peeps mocked my post last night but these sort of choices will come back to bite you as you get older!

I know you're well aware of this already celebrate !:D

Thinking of all the bored people on here this evening/looking for things to do, all the non T's related chat (although very welcome), seems like T's is a place to not generally shop in now.

No price check vouchers, do we all re-submit, or just wait for ages to see if they sort themselves out :(

They surely can't stop it,. as A's will wipe the floor with them, they still have APG and £5 vouchers off shopping.

And your dinner looked delicious Karlie!

Oh well, it's somewhere to hang out and keeps us off the streets!

    basically make the mash.

sauce: milk, salt and pepper, parsely. use that to cook the fish in. strain the sauce so you're left with cooked fish.

heat up butter in frying pan and fry onions. make a roux: add plain flour to the melted butter to make a paste like thingamajig. then slowly add some of the sauce you strained from earlier and whisk it in. that should then thicken up.

fish + sauce + mash in oven for 30 mins = fish pie.

don't ask for any measurements....i always guesstimate. :rotfl:

I think they have stopped giving them out.. but try your hand at wombling, i'm sure you will find one from last week, i've had about 10 so far (didn't know what they were when i picked them up as they were screwed up) never going to use them all, i'm sure you'll find one flying in the wind,or maybe stuck to the floor:rotfl: :rotfl:
