Good evening - with all the talk of success at SW I decided to go and face the music tonight - my normal weigh in is on Mondays but I just knew if I didn't go I would just pig out over the weekend. I haven't been since 5th March as I injured my back on the following Saturday and was then quite immobile for the following 2 weeks. I felt I had put loads on but in reality I have only put on 5lbs so that is me back on the wagon (not FKs wagon I have my own). Now where is that mushy pea curry recipe I just have to make that for tomorrows tea
ChelseaGirl - just read your post tonight and hope you are feeling OK today - I agree sometimes it is hard to know the words to say but when I read that someone is not well or upset I do try and hold them in my positive thoughts and prayers0 -
Evening Guys! Just a quickie- does anybody know of a decent company that will buy mobile phones at a decent price? Has anybody had any experience in this area?0

i am also tempted to do a value shop, OH likes the toffees.
i did see gilette razors but wanted to clear out the rest of the thorntons after being trouted last week:rotfl:
Nice shop :jspeaking of superdrug i got some wilkinson extreme shaving sticks pack of 10 for 49p today , the 20 pack was over £5 :eek:

My local SD doesnt do 10p stuff, but the one in town does. Thinking of all the bored people on here this evening/looking for things to do, all the non T's related chat (although very welcome), seems like T's is a place to not generally shop in now.
No price check vouchers, do we all re-submit, or just wait for ages to see if they sort themselves out
They surely can't stop it,. as A's will wipe the floor with them, they still have APG and £5 vouchers off shopping.
And your dinner looked delicious Karlie! The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
Whats the best way to refill the Dettol No Touch please ? I cant move the top.....am I doing something wrong ? Thanks
Easiest way I have found is two table knives, insert on both long sides of the bottle under the cap (as there are two anchor points on either side) then squeeze together and gently tap onto work top (tap knives holding the bottle, if that makes sense, effectively pulling the bottle down and forcing the lid off). Be careful, cap flies off .

Hi, from what I've heard these "cash for your mobile phone" companies offer a pittance. You would probably be better going to cash generator or selling it on gumtree. HTHI do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.

I've always found Carphone Warehouse quite good. You might not get the price you could get for it if you sold it through the likes of Gumtree. The added advantage with CPW is you can take it in to any of their shops to sell and they pay you by putting the money on to your Debit/Credit Card. This way saves all the hassle of waiting for envelopes to arrive then sending them off. I've sold two iPhones and Westie has sold an iPad 2 to CPW and it's all quick and efficient and we wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Plus it saves all the hassle of putting it on eBay or Gumtree and having people try to haggle you down etc etc.
You can check the price here. http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/mobiles/trade-in0
